A Canadian rapper has fallen to his death after walking along the wing of a Cessna plane as part of a music video shoot in Vernon, British Columbia.
Jon James McMurray, 34, walked to the edge of the wing, causing the aircraft to spiral downwards out of control.
McMurray failed to open his parachute because he held on to the plane for too long, his manager said. He died on impact in the accident on Saturday.
"He had trained intensively for this stunt", his manager added.
The pilot was reportedly able to regain control and land the plane safely.

Obviously it wasn't enough.
“...trained intensively...”
Not quite intensively enough.
Potential Darwin nominee.
That is gonna be one cool music video! :)
Darwin Award. Hopefully he did not have children.
Why women live longer than men ...
“But... but... he was going to be a rapper...”
That's the pilot's story and he's stickin' to it.
He was pretty fly for a white guy, but not as fly as he thought he was.
Still, his career made quite an impact.
Isn’t this the third dead Rapper in the past couple of weeks?
#Darwinrappers...
Was he getting his GED, about to get his life together, matriculating at Maple Syrup college, paying off his baby mamas...
Last words: Keep the plane steady, you idiot.
I looked at the video posted.. not of the accident but of his other stunts.
He looks like a cool guy to me.
Shame to see it go wrong. When I first heard of it I thought it was a “Hold muh beer” moment but this plane, the service and the stunt itself is a wing walker.
The pilot of the plane in the posted video seems to be a bush pilot, and those guys are not only nuts but they are very good.
I wonder what his “training” consisted of. A man standing at the end of a light aircraft wing would undoubtedly cause the plane to spiral out of control. Not smart.
A tragedy for him.
A good thing for music as you cannot spell crap without rap.
Garbage music at best.
And before some lame rap lover spouts off about how much this garbage sells, McDonalds sells billions of hamburgers but they are never mistaken for filet mignon.
Jon James ? Sounds tame. Luke Skywing, Icarus Jr., or Wile E.Coyote would all work.
His manager and agent had no comment.
“As God is my witness, I thought rappers could fly.”
