Pres Trump shares East Room stage with Sergeant Major John L Canley, USMC (Ret.), recipient of today's Medal of Honor, for conspicuous valor under fire, coming to the aid of fellow Marines, in 1968 during the Vietnam War.

During the Tet Offensive in Vietnam, Sgt Major Canley "risked his own life to save the lives of those under his command," said Pres Trump, recounting Canley's bravery meriting the Medal of Honor.

This do-nothing Congress could’ve changed the laws that encourage people to break and enter. They’ve had two years and have done pretty much nothing. Well OK, they got Cavanagh in and They passed tax cuts. But they could’ve done so much more!

Ok, so you can start worrying.

What the blazes!!! We had a thief jump the locked fence and wouldn’t leave our yard. I kept telling him to get the heck off my property but he wasn’t going anywhere. Hubby heard me and came out and the guy still wouldn’t budge. Hubby showed him his cop badge and the moron was still not G O N E. Another neighbor came out and he finally moseyed along. Looked like he was doped up but had a trailer so was alert enough to know he’d need a trailer to load up other people’s stuff. Moron must have thought no one was home even though all our vehicles here. It’s prime pickings middle of the week and mostly out of town owners and all the flood mess.

Ya know, I said I needed to unpack the vehicles? Well, dang, you have one guess what all was still packed at the time but is NOT now.

Another neighbor came by as the idiot was leaving and she turned around to follow him. I called around to other neighbors to let them know.

THEN, we start to sit down and grab a glass of water after rushing to get everything in the house .... but no water. The pump on the water well burned up. Maybe got gunky muddy water in it. THANKFULLY, the neighborhood handyman knows what to do and he was here in two seconds flat. Now, crossing fingers, eyes and toes he and hubby can find a pump on the shelf around here.

I know his network is not doing very well. I just happen to catch a show once when he was talking about how much money he lost on that endeavor. I mean he didn’t give a dollar amount but he did say that he lost a lot of money. I don’t listen to him much so I can’t even remember now what it is called. Or what the other shows are.

That’s a good improvement! Now that you mention it, I’m surprised by liberals across the street don’t have their little liberal signs up during the elections. I suppose they know I would counteract with mine, and everyone else in the holler would be against them. Actually I don’t think liberals think that far ahead, when I mentioned to her that we moved here because the majority of us so conservative, she seemed shocked that I thought they were. Silly woman!

I am having a “tablespoon and a jar of peanut butter” kind of day.

I had a bad reaction to a flu shot that I had last week.
That is getting better, but now I have what looks like gout in my left thumb, and it HURTS!!
I am looking for sympathy, I guess.

More peanut butter, taht’s my comfort food!

lol, Yep, drinking and drugging liberals, controlling my phone! I noticed the dictation software on the tablet is slightly better. But it doesn’t understand me as well. If that makes any sense.

This crazy elbow injury is having me learn a lot though. I’ve learned a whole lot about Dragon naturally speaking, and I can’t wait to get my arms back to program some things. It can be a neat tool but you really have to be able to use your arms.

OK, today’s trip to the physical therapist was an eye-opener. I went in for a pain management session. That part was just fine and I feel pretty good right now. I was asking him about subsequent sessions, and when I could stop the exercises. He said when I felt pain! Well, this is a repetitive stress injury, tendinosis, and you don’t feel the pain until several hours after the activity. That was the problem with Monday. That’s actually usually my problem, I overdo it and I don’t know I did it until later. So I have to monitor my actions as I do them. So I knew he was full of crap!

So after that I went over to another physical therapist office and asked to speak to someone in charge. I explained my situation and asked if they had any therapist that could treat me and make it worthwhile while causing more pain. The lady I talked to was great. She pretty much said everything I needed to hear to feel comfortable with her. Who thought this would be so hard! Anyway, I’m onto physical therapist number three, perhaps third time’s the charm!

BTW, if you have swallowing issues, NEVER eat peanut butter by the spoonful.
It does have it’s downside, as choking becomes very possible if you eat it like that.
I am being VERY careful with it!

Yes, glad he was home.

Glad the vehicles are unpacked and certain things back within arm’s reach. Actually, in front of the keyboard between my two arms. I’m still shaking.
