Pres Trump shares East Room stage with Sergeant Major John L Canley, USMC (Ret.), recipient of today's Medal of Honor, for conspicuous valor under fire, coming to the aid of fellow Marines, in 1968 during the Vietnam War.
During the Tet Offensive in Vietnam, Sgt Major Canley "risked his own life to save the lives of those under his command," said Pres Trump, recounting Canley's bravery meriting the Medal of Honor.
"You don't look 80 years old to me," Pres tells Sgt Major Canley, commenting on the fitness of the retired Marine.

I’m here.. watching Ted.
I know he must still have some emotional bruises from the election in 2016.. I supported him til DJT announced.
He is a good senator and i believe wants the best for his state and our country.
Supreme court? Maybe but I think DJT wouldn’t nominate him.. might be wrong. we need him in the senate.

i lived in Houston in early 90s. was Chaplain at a hospital.. liked it a lot. took a job as head of pastoral care in Charleston SC... them mom had issues.. Moved to OHIO instead of SC. Gave up career, marriage, life..
and took care of her for 20 years.. now such is my financial dilemma. sigh. Did the right thing but dang it is painful to think of “what if”.
My getaway was Matadora Beach.. a sleepy fishing rugged beach. took a tent and my cats.. for 3 days each time. Now i understand it is a state park. which I would not like.
