Pres Trump shares East Room stage with Sergeant Major John L Canley, USMC (Ret.), recipient of today's Medal of Honor, for conspicuous valor under fire, coming to the aid of fellow Marines, in 1968 during the Vietnam War.

During the Tet Offensive in Vietnam, Sgt Major Canley "risked his own life to save the lives of those under his command," said Pres Trump, recounting Canley's bravery meriting the Medal of Honor.

"You don't look 80 years old to me," Pres tells Sgt Major Canley, commenting on the fitness of the retired Marine.

Perfect visibility the day we visited. Didn’t know how lucky we were until we were back down. At OH MY GOD turn a vehicle came around the corner in the middle of the road just as we were approaching. My friend yelled OMG just as the man on the cassette tape told us the name of the curve. Still don’t know how we missed the other car!
Lots of good memories. She died of pancreatic cancer a few months later. So glad we made the trip before she knew she was ill. Her husband had just passed and she wanted to see mountains and oceans and Niagra Falls. Her bucket list became very important to her after her husbands accident. We made it to all three before she became ill.

Hello everyone I’m at home and am hoping to sleep tonight

I think this invasion is very very high on President Trump’s priority list I have a feeling he and Maas t Dog Mathes are putting their heads together about the best way to approach this

I believe he’s working with the president of Mexico regarding possibly a interception before they reach the border and of course there’s the economic things that everyone’s talked about but that’s not going to stop the people

I think the momentum will pick up with Mexico adding more and more to it I think there’s gonna be a lot of bloodshed and I think this will again Be a spark to the right to get out and vote
