Pres Trump shares East Room stage with Sergeant Major John L Canley, USMC (Ret.), recipient of today's Medal of Honor, for conspicuous valor under fire, coming to the aid of fellow Marines, in 1968 during the Vietnam War.
During the Tet Offensive in Vietnam, Sgt Major Canley "risked his own life to save the lives of those under his command," said Pres Trump, recounting Canley's bravery meriting the Medal of Honor.
"You don't look 80 years old to me," Pres tells Sgt Major Canley, commenting on the fitness of the retired Marine.

Sen. Harry Reid, destroying Birthright Citizenship in 1993:
“If you break our laws by entering this country illegally to give birth to a child - we reward that child with US citizenship and guarantee full access to all public & social services...”
Wow.

I have had a few experiences with Angels and I always PRay to God to send his protecting Angels for family and friends when needed.
my mom in her last 5 years always spoke about her angle that was there. she kept asking me, Don’t you see her? No mom. I wish I was able to
Also now and then the angel had a few others.. departed family..a few at a time
The years I worked with Hospice, cancer and AIDS patients I experienced this phenenomon regularly with patients. Most of their families did not believe them. I told the patients and their families that yes, I believe they are there and very real
.
I in my mind call this the transition team
I think NIKK if you and our mom have been able to see them throughout your life, you are very blessed.
Yes I am a firm believer in angels.. as taught in the Bible.
Finishing up at library High 50s here and Lucy really needs a bath so we will head over to pond for stick & candida bath. Its already border line too cool but want to take advantage of these nice days when they visit. The sun is shining also!
Slept bout 4 hours last night. Better than nothing for sure!
NIKK, I found this treatise on the subject of guardian angels to be most helpful, especially with the verses quoted throughout.
You are not wrong.

Subject:* Pool Report #3 Marine One departure
President Trump and first lady Melania Trump exited the Oval Office at 2:40 for the slow walk to a waiting Marine One. Both were wearing overcoats and it appeared they were holding hands at least briefly, though the pool did not have a good angle to tell for certain. The president looked over toward the cameras and the pool and waved. After a second wave he gave a small thumbs up and then a third wave. He did not respond to a few shouted questions. He was followed to the helicopter by Ivanka and Jared Kushner, General Kelly and the first ladys chief of staff, Lindsay Reynolds. The helicopter lifted off the South Lawn at 2:45.
It should be noted that the White House attempted what they called something new to try to bring a little order to the South Lawn press staging. When the doors to the Palm Room opened, not everybody could rush out to the lawn to stake out positions. First it was stakes, followed by cameras, stills and, last, correspondents. No provision was made for the pool. The result was the desired order but, seemingly unintended, a freezing out of correspondents to ask any questions. The small gap in the front usually occupied by wire or pool correspondents was gone. A few pushed as close to the front as possible but questioning the president would have been problematic.
ubject:* *Travel pool report 1*
The president and FLOTUS exited M1 at 1455 at Andrews and boarded the big AF1 for what should be a flight of about 40 mins to Pittsburgh.
He wore a blue tie. She wore a long checkered coat and black stilettos.
Trump did not talk to reporters.
Also accompanying POTUS were Ivanka Trump, Jared Kushner, and John Kelly.
Wheels up shortly. More to come...
AF1 just landed here in Pittsburgh (we’re watching out the window).
You're right - they always let him off the hook and/or made excuses for him.
And he made those errors more than once.
But those basic mistakes on his part demonstrated he really isn't American at heart and didn't really grow up immersed in American culture.
How many American adults, especially those with a college education AND a Harvard law degree, would repeatedly make the mistake
of getting the number of US states wrong?
And how many who claim to be American and Christian can chant the opening lines of the Muslim call to prayer in a perfect Arabic accent as Obama can?
(March 6, 2007 interview with Nicholas D. Kristof of the New York Times, entitled, Obama: Man of the World")
And how many would call the muslim call to prayer "one of the prettiest sounds on Earth at sunset?
And how many think "Navy Corpsman" Is pronounced "Navy Corpseman?"
Arghhhh !!!!!
You’re right, that shows somebody that didn’t grow up as an American. Certainly not as a proud American. His Muslim connection was certainly something the media brushed under the rug.
It is amazing Trump is doing as well as he is with all the media bias. Can you imagine if he just got a fair Shake? He’d have 80% approval rating.
:)
I love cornbread so I always thought I would love cornbread stuffing. But it does always seem to be dry, I thought it was just the recipes I used. My husband likes the recipe I got from my mother. I assume she got it from my dad’s mother, since her mother was Italian. And there was no tomato sauce in the recipe :-) it’s a simple one, just celery and onions sauteed in butter, then mixed with stale white bread and cubes, and tossed with some poultry seasoning and turkey broth. My mother used to put in giblets and stuff but we leave those out. I’ve never had oyster stuffing it sounds kind of gross. I would like to add sausage to my stuffing, I think that would be good!
That’s beautiful exit, and very detailed.
“This means that everything angels do, everywhere in the world, at all times, is for the good of Christians. An angel who does something by Gods assignment anywhere in the world is fulfilling the promise that God will work all things for the good of all Christians everywhere. This is a sweeping and stunning promise. All angels serve for the good of all Christians all the time. They are agents of Romans 8:28.”
I love this part, it is very comforting.
I forgot until you just mentioned it, but when my sister passed away she was seeing angels. In fact she called me and wanted me to come to her after her first sighting of angels. She didn’t pass away for about 4 more months. But they were always with her. She was so excited and happy to see them, i know they gave her a lot of comfort in her final time.
That’s a shame they didn’t get to ask him how it was to be responsible for the deaths./s
