Pres Trump shares East Room stage with Sergeant Major John L Canley, USMC (Ret.), recipient of today's Medal of Honor, for conspicuous valor under fire, coming to the aid of fellow Marines, in 1968 during the Vietnam War.
During the Tet Offensive in Vietnam, Sgt Major Canley "risked his own life to save the lives of those under his command," said Pres Trump, recounting Canley's bravery meriting the Medal of Honor.
"You don't look 80 years old to me," Pres tells Sgt Major Canley, commenting on the fitness of the retired Marine.

We had a 7th inning stretch, a 14th inning stretch, and a 21st inning stretch!

Yes, when Vin was still announcing, he would occasionally talk about that game & now Hershiser is an announcer & mentions it. I remember that game & Hamilton pitching.

What a great and historic baseball game, pax!! How sweet and amazing that your 3 yo was able to hang in there, til the 21st!!!! Inning.
I just read this to hubby and he said, “but, they stop selling beer after the 7th inning!!” I said, I don’t think pax’s 3 yo was too worried about that. :-)

Lol! No, my three-year-old didn’t start drinking beer until the next season! ;-)
I found out later that one of my best friends had been out with her husband that night.
They drove past the Astrodome on their way home and asked at one of the gates if they could go in and the guy let them in free to see the rest of the game. :-)

At FFA meeting, Trump invites a local rabbi and a local pastor to come on stage to offer prayers for what happened today in PA.
He asked for one rabbi and one pastor who were local in Indianapolis to be asked to come pray at this conference while flying aboard AF-1.
These two man offered awesome prayers.
Then Trump hugged them both.
He said they had about 8 minutes notice that they were needed.
I am thankful for a President who thinks like this man does.
