Pres Trump shares East Room stage with Sergeant Major John L Canley, USMC (Ret.), recipient of today's Medal of Honor, for conspicuous valor under fire, coming to the aid of fellow Marines, in 1968 during the Vietnam War.
During the Tet Offensive in Vietnam, Sgt Major Canley "risked his own life to save the lives of those under his command," said Pres Trump, recounting Canley's bravery meriting the Medal of Honor.
"You don't look 80 years old to me," Pres tells Sgt Major Canley, commenting on the fitness of the retired Marine.

Morning Rather dreary here. Just threw together a lasagna -— a good rally meal. Have salad made and will pull a loaf of Italian bread out of freeze later to warm. Life is good.

I liked the Dodgers years ago when they kept their managers for years. Tommy Lasorda is my all time favorite. I believe he worked for the Dodgers for 60 years. Amazing. I saw him manage when they were in Spring training in Florida. My dad called him Sparky..jokingly. He said he could call him anything if it’s for dinner...lol

After going to numerous stores, when we got home , hubby said , "this would be a good day to make homemade pizza." Duh! Why didn't he think of that BEFORE we were home? LOL
I have most of the ingredients except mozzarella cheese.
