Pres Trump shares East Room stage with Sergeant Major John L Canley, USMC (Ret.), recipient of today's Medal of Honor, for conspicuous valor under fire, coming to the aid of fellow Marines, in 1968 during the Vietnam War.

During the Tet Offensive in Vietnam, Sgt Major Canley "risked his own life to save the lives of those under his command," said Pres Trump, recounting Canley's bravery meriting the Medal of Honor.

"You don't look 80 years old to me," Pres tells Sgt Major Canley, commenting on the fitness of the retired Marine.

I’m glad you’re finally getting to get this taken care of!

And I always appreciate your refreshing honesty about your health care System. Typically all I hear is how wonderful it is, from those who really do think they are getting everything for free. Even some of my family and Italy do not see the high cost of all their free stuff. And then they wonder why we have an entire house with land and they have teeny tiny Apartments. They just don’t see the correlation.

I was thinking of your rusty last night. Mymax is somewhere between 15 and 17, and has started acting like an old cat. Is losing weight and seems to have some trouble with his back paw. Every now and then while he’s walking it goes out from under him. Not very often but I am keeping a close eye on him so I notice all these little changes. It breaks my heart to think I am on the verge of losing him. He used to walk with me and the dog all around the property. Lately he has taken to just going with us outside the gate and then watching us go. He knows he can’t make it.

I know you’re joking but a friend, former seal and owner of a construction company slipped in the shower and is a quadriplegic. I never jump in the shower anymore.

Even after I shared this story another friend slipped and hit his head on the soap dish though he’s ok.

Just thought I’d share so all will be careful.

Wow, steak for breakfast!

I found these neat things that the discount grocery yesterday, they are Thomas’s Bagels with nooks and crannies. When I bought them I was confused and thought they were just huge english muffins. My husband had me actually read the package :-) I haven’t tried them yet but I’m looking forward to it. I’m not really a breakfast eater so I might have one for lunch.

Yeah, the timing of these “suspicious packages” is in itself suspicious. Who sent them? How do we know it wasn’t a RAT or associates who sent them to make conservatives look bad. They have so many dirty tricks. I have read in some history books that the communists in the early take-over of Russia set off much of that rioting and killed even their own supporters in order to turn the populace against the ruling party. These RATS are cut from the same cloth.
