Republicans raged Saturday at the expanding number of top New York Democrats who are giving their challengers the silent treatment rather than debate them.
So far, Gov. Cuomo, and two top Dems Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand and attorney general candidate Letitia James are ducking debates with their darkhorse opponents.

We are a quite happy lot on Staten Island.
Even the mayor and governor, as horrific as they are, have not really affected us.
We are, it seems, an island unto ourselves :)
No pun intended.
The ridiculous one party system we have on the Northeast sucks.

One-party RAT rule in Maryland State Government sucked also. It got so bad that they went beyond what even the RAT loving population in Maryland could stand and literally enacted a RAIN TAX. The special rain tax applied to the square footage of anything on your property that kept the rain from directly falling on bare earth (buildings of any type, driveways, parking lots, etc, etc).
As a result of the rain tax and many other atrocities inflicted on Maryland taxpayers, they finally rebelled and did the unthinkable...elected Larry Hogan, a (gasp) Republican as Governor. Hell almost certainly be re-elected next month.
Well, for all the dems who hate Cuomo but you know will never vote for a republican, not that Molinaro is any kind of republican even though the Conservative party endorsed him, theres Larry Sharp to point them to.
I cannot fathom why any party that calls itself conservative would endorse Molinaro in the first place.
But Larry Sharp looks like a very feasible candidate.
Point all your Cuomo hating liberal acquaintances towards Sharpe.
Maybe we can get rid of that cancer on NY after all.
And the Mid-Atlantic.
He’s about as Republican as is allowed in cobalt-blue Land of Peasant Living, but I’m not enamored of him.
Kind of a Juan McCain Republican.
True that. But hes not raising taxes so that makes him better than a RAT alternative. And his current RAT alternative, Ben Jealous, is HORRENDOUS, even by RAT standards.
