I don’t know, but I can speak for myself and my friends (some of which have never even voted before) that we are more motivated to vote this time that we were in 2016. (For me, I cannot remember a time that I was more motivated to vote) I plan to vote early just in case something happens to me on election day preventing my vote. I have never in my life voted a straight republican ticket, but plan to this time. (I don’t vote for democrats, but if I haven’t researched each race I usually refrain from voting for the ones I do not know)

In reality, many, many Florida’s Republicans are voting in “Mail-In” cycle, but, the real numbers will begin to draw a clear picture as millions of Florida “early voters” head to the polls starting next week. My own prediction is Florida, Texas & Georgia go GOP big time!!!

IMHO, the pollsters and pundits are all asleep at the wheel......trust none of them not one bit!!! They do not have a clue, You would be better off asking a three year baby what the election will bring forth....LAM)!!!

Not only that, but I think a good percentage of Democrat ballots voted Republican.

I too am concerned about the number of NO PARTY votes. It doesn’t add up. Why is someone who is non Affiliated motivated enough to vote early?
If most of these are Rat votes we are actually way behind not ahead.

“No Party Affiliation” is skewing 2-1 for Democrats this year.

How do you know who Independents voted for? Or, for that matter, how do you know, who Republicans, Democrats & Others cast their votes for?

I'd like to see the numbers for early voting in 2016 AND the end game.

Like I said....the Dems are evil.

I watched Obama calculate his win and his concentration on the heavy Dem Distracts. He actually beat out the electoral college goals by doing it that way. Totally mathematics.

And it appears that they also list results of the heavy Dem distracts almost, if not, last. That's where all the cheating can occuir in bulk.

Yes....The stats they are giving are worthless.

They should not release that information before the vote, and that information MUST be kept from both parties. Any chance that can or will happen? - slim to none.

NPA registrations in FL have increased 3% since 2016. D registrations are down 2%. That could be the reason you are seeing an increase in NPA share. Some of these are disgruntled Dems who switched from D to I and intend to vote for the R candidate.

Based on what? It doesn’t mean exactly the same thing, (registration is not identical to identification), but most polls I’ve seen show Republicans doing well among independent-identifying voters.

I agree. I don’t think that many of the people who respond to polls are statistically representative of a true cross section of voters. I think they are more inclined to be the Takers than the Makers.

It's just independent voters. They make up 26% of total registered voters in Florida and they are voting-by-mail (that's what these numbers are) in consistent levels with previous elections.

Over the last few days since I have been tracking, new vote-by-mail requests (since your request falls off after two elections):

Republican 20,900, 43%
Democratic 14,800, 31%
Independent 12,400

Updated Google doc with comparisons to 2014 and 2016 if you are interested in seeing more.

In Florida, a bare majority of I voters vote GOP. In other states not the case.

Don’t worry. Although there were only 13 registered Republicans in Broward County, there are now 14. I just registered. I have a home down there, although I know live in North Carolina, too. And yes I have voted by mail.

As tragic as the loss was up there in places like Mexico Beach, I doubt that the total numbers of displaced voters amount to that much.
