The plea for Tab came across in a message on Facebook.
It was Sept. 27, and Anne White saw a post from a neighbor telling her their local grocery store in Cincinnati had been stripped of the diet soda, last popular in the 1980s and now a cult favorite.
I drank my last one a few days ago and Im suffering from withdrawal, the neighbor wrote. Where are you guys getting it?

My mom was a TABoholic. I can’t remember any other kind of soda in her refrigerator except for the stuff she bought for me.
I also remember getting to take the empty bottles back for the deposit 3 or 4 times a year and getting to keep the money.
5 or 6 bucks was quite a bit of walking around money for a kid in the late 60s/early 70s.
After the last quote in the gif line, add width=, then surround 420 with double quotes, then end your gif line with >. Done.
Imagine this line surround by <>.

“Is Fresca still around?”
Yes - in two flavors, original citrus and also a peach citrus. I have a 12-pack of the peach citrus in the house now.
Never happen, the pretentious asses would never go without their sparkling mineral waters, no Perrier? no San Pellegrino?
Sing to the tune of WHERE HAVE ALL THE FLOWERS GONE?
Where has all the Tab gone
A long time after
Where has all the Tab gone
A long, long time ago
Where has all the Tab gone
Its in Aisle 17 everyone
When will they ever learn
Oh, when will they ever learn
Got my first TAB back in 1963 or 64. Had to mix it with a real coke to make it palatable.
This was when it used saccharine, a few years before the cyclamate scare.

My family and I have had a few products disappear from the shelfs over the years that we miss. The biggest was an oatmeal based soap from Gerber. You can still find it on the internet at a ridiculous cost - I think from people who hoarded it. Alas we can’t get it.
The other one that has always annoyed me personally was Pert shampoo for oily hair. Nothing else has ever been ‘just right’ between my scalp and my hair.
Of course then there are a lot of the local non-national products that you can’t get in other areas. I remember Bunny bread and RC cola, etc
See post 11.
What kind of lifestyle results in a body shape like that? Yikes.
I like a shot of vodka with 50/50 mix tonic water & Fresca.
Tab tasted horrible.
Simple solution. After the “ but before the > at the end of the image address hit the space bar once and type in width=”300”
Yep, Fresca comes in several flavors now. Different sweetener than the very old days of course (was saccharine). Probably aspartame now.
I like La Croix carbonated flavored water. Lots of flavors to choose from. Klarbrun is the same, like it too. Just water and natural flavors, no calories or sweeteners. I am used to zero sugar drinks. I know a few people who hate these flavored waters because the are just fizzy water and natural flavor.
I tried other carbonated waters, because frankly Perrier is a bit on the expensive side, but they just didn’t do it for me.
But once I made the mistake of trying the Perrier Lime, ugggh, made me want to throw up.
The last time I had a Tab was probably in 1980.
