NY Times ^ | October 17, 2018 | Laura M. Holson

The plea for Tab came across in a message on Facebook.

It was Sept. 27, and Anne White saw a post from a neighbor telling her their local grocery store in Cincinnati had been stripped of the diet soda, last popular in the 1980s and now a cult favorite.

I remember Tab from the 70s/80s. It was awful being sweetened by saccharine. I thought Coke killed that product a long time ago.

Next, they’ll be complaining about a Sprite shortage. It’s all due to global warming, anyway.

Is it carbonated?
The Left has outlawed CO2 in all its forms and all its uses.
Or they would if they could.

My first TAB experience was in 1972, Fort Sill, Oklahoma. After a 12 pack I was convinced that Coca Cola was trying to poison us. The memory of that experience is indelible. Never again!

Lou: You gonna order something, kid?
Marty McFly: Ah, yeah... Give me a Tab.
Lou: Tab? I can't give you a tab unless you order something.
Marty McFly: Alright, give me a Pepsi Free.
Lou: You want a Pepsi, PAL, you're gonna pay for it.

It’s an acquired taste, like Scotch. Had it in the 70’s, never thought to buy it again.

Why do I feel like loud words after seeing that?

I could not stand Tab. My aunt loved it.

” I’m suffering from withdrawal,”

dimwit. addict. better to go thru few days withdrawl let your brain and other cells replenish so you are healthy and not clogging up the medical system with your self inflicted gotta have it non life giving addictive products lifestyle choices, and also save money by stopping your addiction.

win! win! win! (probably more wins than that even)

I still get Fresca. I can only buy bitter lemon from the UK now. Schweppes only makes it in Europe.

Haven’t seen a Tab in 20 years. No diet drink is healthy, but the early ones were really bad and very addictive.
