"Two years ago Trump was here and made some waves with his remarks so last year you went with Paul Ryan whos a boy scout and thats fine but a little boring," she said. "So this year you wanted to spice things up again. I get it, you wanted an Indian woman but Elizabeth Warren failed her DNA test...Actually, when the president found out I was Indian-American he asked me if I was the same tribe as Elizabeth Warren."
While the former South Carolina governor insisted that she would not be running for president in 2020, speculation mounted that she could replace Senator Lindsey Graham if he were to take over as attorney general after the midterm elections.
During her 17-minute speech Thursday, Haley took aim at Jeff Sessions, the current attorney general. "Jeff Sessions wanted to be here but he recused himself," she said. "Actually I saw Jeff Sessions earlier today, but not in New York, I saw him on LinkedIn looking for a job. Trump made sure to highly praise the ambassador, who has a high approval rating with both Democratic and Republican voters, after she said she would resign at the end of this year.
Shes done a fantastic job, and weve done a fantastic job together, Trump said during a recent Oval Office meeting with Haley. Shes a fantastic person, very importantly, but she also is somebody that gets it.
Speaking on Thursday, Haley said that she was not thinking about the 2020 election yet because it was way too early, "unless youre a Senate Democrat during the Kavanaugh hearing," she joked.
She also made sure the crowd knew she did not write the anonymous Op-Ed written... that railed against President Trump. "You can call me anything, just don't call me anonymous," she said.

fringe howlers like him used to get fact-bombed into silence at FR. now, they just seem to howl louder.
the NBC gambit is a retarded argument that you have already lost in spectacular fashion; so, be sure and keep playing that card. it’s a fabulous use of your time.
I gave you the gospel. SC learned the hard way that having an rino anchor baby as governor was not such a great idea. They were fooled thinking she was a tea-partier.
She’s CINO...a court created citizen. Worse, she’s a rino, a globalist, universally loved by neverTrumpers to this day.
“Her parents were professional academics who lawfully immigrated while they were in Canada. This is what we WANT!”
It’s not what I want. I certainly don’t want these first generation ‘citizens’ to be encouraged to run for high office. Especially when they’re not eligible.
Notice the black guy in the back row, not clapping and looking like someone put a turd in his water glass.
She lit the fuse...
Odd indeed. And the guy in front of her wiping a turd off the chair. Weird.
Would Haley run as a Dem?
If not...you better believe that the Dems would pull out the "SHE'S NOT A NBC!" thing.
It's hardly a waste of my time and I haven't "lost" one damned thing; diddums!
Throw in the fact that Haley is NOT a Conservative, that if history is anything at all to go by, then it would be Pence, who will run in 2024 ( not that I want him either ), and your ignorance is showing massively.
Oh geez, you’re one of those.
A rino hater? Yes.
Someone that wants the supreme law of the land upheld and followed? Yes.
Wake up and smell the lefty hypocrisy!
It’s the supreme law of the land. A constitutional eligibility requirement for VP or POTUS— Natural born citizen.
We don’t need a court to tell us what the Constitution means. It’s plain and obvious. If you think we need the courts to ‘interpret’ the Constitution before it is followed, you maybe on the wrong forum.
She is ineligible for veep or prez, yes. But rino? Nah.
Tough cookie at UN.
Best since Kirkpatrick and Bolton IMO.
Did you just start following politics?
Trump gets enough jokes. Pick another target, you big dope.
She’s arrogant that’s for sure...I didn’t follow her actions as ambassador too closely.
“Did I mention Bill Kristol loves nikki haley? The king of the neverTrumpers. “
You could have some points, but you lost all credibility by calling falsely Haley an “anchor baby”. And by doubling down on your falsehood.
A court created citizen is an anchor baby in my book. A citizen in name only. Not created by law. What would you call it?
