“For those who are screaming blood for the Saudis — look, these people are key allies,” Robertson said. While he called the faith of the Wahabists — the hardline Islamist sect to which the Saudi Royal Family belongs — “obnoxious,” he urged viewers to remember that “we’ve got an arms deal that everybody wanted a piece of…it’ll be a lot of jobs, a lot of money come to our coffers. It’s not something you want to blow up willy-nilly.”
Robertson praised the approach of President Donald Trump, who has publicly cast doubt on the allegations against the Saudis, comparing them to those of sexual assault against Supreme Court justice Brett Kavanaugh earlier this month. On Wednesday, after the New York Times reported that it had obtained audio of Khashoggi being tortured, murdered, and dismembered inside the consulate, Turkish newspaper Yeni Safak reported that Trump said that he had requested the recording, “if it exists,” later adding “I’m not sure that it exists.”
A day later, Robertson doubled down, reappearing on the network to dismiss calls for any form of reprisals against the Saudis as “ill-advised,” in part because of Saudi Arabia’s hardline stance against Iran, whom Robertson identified as a bigger threat.

Why does anyone care what Pat Robertson has to say anymore? Seriously. Articles like this are written so that the writer can feel superior by pointing out that an old, past-his-prime pundit is saying something that can be construed as off the wall and safely know that the target is one that everyone will laugh at.
I don’t really think that the prince would be so clumsy and stupid as to have the guy murdered in such a public fashion. It would seem a provocateur is trying to set the prince up and bring him down — Muslim brotherhood.
Pat Robertson is human. He’s said and done some very good things. And he’s said and done some wacky things. The thing is, when he says and does things, either good or wacky, they affect a LOT of people.
Overall, the truth is that he’s said and done a whole lot more good things than I ever will.
But it’s fun to talk trash about high-profile people who are sometimes clumsy with their words, so the knee-jerk reaction is to laugh at the old man.
Doesn’t matter what your intent is, what matters is the outcome. And right now a lot of you Dincons are busy being internet propaganda bots for Russia and Iran.

So he agrees with President Trump.
Its one thing for the President of the United States playing diplomatic niceties while things are happening behind the scenes, but it is an entirely different matter when a Christian pastor rises up to defend the 9/11 Saudis.

That’s what I said when this thing first happened. The Price made a lot of enemies within the family as well when he arrested all those corrupt guys at the beginning. He is bringing the Saudies into this century, that angers a lot of people.
We have Turkey, Russia, Iran, Muslim Brotherhood, Palestinians, and backstabbing former billionaire family members.

The Saudis are frenemies, but they are no match for Trump - when it comes down to it - we will see how brilliantly Trump played the House of Saud for the fools that they are. (imo)
Shoebat just lost all my respect. If the Saudis killed Kashoggi, it was murder, and demonstartes that the Saudis are not a democracy (as if anyone didn’t know that). But Kashoggi was the jihadist, not the Crown Prince.
9/11 Saudis? Man, you don’t know who’s who. The Crown Prince is the one who put all those people in prison. If he goes down, the 9-11 Saudis WIN. That’s what this is about. Turkey and Kashoggi are ISIS/Al Qaeda types and they know the Crown Prince is not.

Between the Wahabis and the Muslim Brotherhood - which Kashoggi was a member of - it is a Hobsom’s choice; between what is available and nothing. With the Muslim Brotherhood we get nothing, or worse than nothing (subversion). With the Saudis we get what we know are allies of convenience for now; no more, no less.
The only thing we need to be concerned over is supporting Israel.
God will take care of the rest.
