Roseanne isn’t back, but The Conners are. The highly anticipated follow-up show premiered Tuesday night to lower-than-expected ratings but critical approval. Besides tuning in to find out how the show did away with Roseanne, what did viewers actually think about the show?
The consensus? Not great.
“This show should have stayed ‘cancelled,'” one viewer said succinctly. Another commenter was equally as blunt, stating; “Probably the worst show I’ve ever seen.”

They can bring her back just like they did Bobby on DALLAS. Simply declare THE CONNERS segment to be a “dream”.
It really doesn’t matter because you shouldn’t be watching it anyway...the number of viewers only helps the suits sell more advertising so that they can use the money to produce more mind-numbing, offensive, left-wing television shows.
Not gay but gender fluid...I know I’m a teen, but I know some is not liking it (homosexuality), but my generation grew up with it, and me us (my friends) it isn’t a big deal. I have a few gay friends and they are Conservative.
Although I commend Rosanne for being a Trump supporter, I despised even the original show. It was about a trashy working class family that argued constantly, and almost every line spoken was a sarcastic barb. I found it unwatchable.
I never understood the popularity of the original show. Sounds like the reboot gutted of the main character is a complete disaster and should be put out of its misery.
So... a major improvement?

The reboot started with Dan, back from the dead.
*That* was all Roseanne’s dream.
They should rename it The Joking Dead.
rosanne should be given a new sit com. She is governor of Calif and is surrounded by snowflakes and liberals

The episode featured him picking out which boy he “liked better” and would sit with on the bus to a field trip.
There was no doubt about his ‘preferences’.
That is just plain evil.
Goodman is one of those actors who, to me at least, always looks like he’s acting.
I prefer him in darker roles
Imagine if Dick Van Dyke tripped over the Ottoman, broke his Neck and died?
