Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) says no one, not even the president of the United States will ever be able to take away her purported American Indian heritage. After releasing a 2018 midterm election October surprise on Monday, wherein the liberal lawmaker released the findings of a DNA test showing she is likely less than one percent American Indian, Warren released a short, five-minute documentary video in which she says Trump cannot take her ancestry from her.
Some people have questioned my heritage and my family history, Warren says. Maybe they do it to insult me Maybe they do it because they think politics is a blood sport. But my parents were real people, the love they shared, the struggles they endured, the family they built, the story they lived, will always be etched on my heart.
As Breitbart News noted, Warren is actually less Native American than many white, Hispanic, and black Americans. Experts with 23andMe say the average black American is nearly one percent Native American, while the average Hispanic American is 18 percent Native American. Additionally, about eight percent of white Americans in Louisiana, for example, are at least one percent Native American.
Warrens American Indian ancestry is so small that she would is not eligible to join the countrys three federally-recognized Cherokee tribes, Breitbart News reported.

Thanks for the laughs and great pics!
It’s Queen La-pálido.
I was reading that the DNA testing company fudged it because they didn't have enough Native American DNA samples.
They used South & Central American DNA samples instead.
You didn't match the South & Central American DNA samples...
She is absolutely right.
NO ONE CAN TAKE AWAY SOMETHING YOU NEVER HAD!
I am 5.2% Neanderthal, you rotten Cro-Magnons stole all our stuff.
We want it all back, NOW.
NEANDERTHAL REPARATIONS NOW.
I’ll just bribe them with a little firewater and they’ll be good little Indians.
It might help if she converted and became a Baptist, as many Cherokee have done.
Dan Quail was partially correct too when it comes to spelling ‘potatoe’. This is her ‘potatoe’ moment.

“Warrens thread of 20-plus (and counting) tweets began at about 5:30 p.m. ET, where she attempted to both insult President Trump and defend herself.”
We all know why @realDonaldTrump makes creepy physical threats about me, right? Hes scared. Hes trying to do what he always does to women who scare him: call us names, attack us personally, shrink us down to feel better about himself. It may soothe his ego but it wont work. pic.twitter.com/2rfPSlvlQA Elizabeth Warren (@elizabethforma) October 15, 2018

Kinda the same arent they?
No One, Not Even Trump Can Take Away My American Indian Heritage Not Even My Precious DNA!
_______________
Can’t rob an empty safe....
Have you looked at that result recently? Ancestry.com recently reanalyzed the DNA results. The hispanic heritage that was in my DNA "disappeared" with the new analysis, while germanic heritage showed up. This actually makes some sense; my name came from a German who immigrated back in the 1600s.
The limitations of the DNA tests lie in the fact that they rely on statistical analysis. The larger the reference base is, the more accurate the DNA test.
That is possible.
The more samples the DNA testing company has from an ethnic group, the better the analysis. There are bazillions of English, Irish, Norwegian, German, and African samples (my tested heritage) but few Native American samples. Perhaps one day, there will be enough data to detect that part of my heritage. Until then, I am not going to go around claiming that I am a minority so I can get special benefits. After then, I still won't.
I have more Neanderthal DNA than she has NA. Im going to claim absolute minority status as an oppressed species.
I heard about that. My ancestry is mostly Polish, some Lithuanian. With all the times Poland was partitioned by the Germans since the Middle Ages it’s probable there’s some Germanic heritage in my family as well.
Someone needs to break it to Lizzie... she HAS no “American Indian Heritage.”
On that Crazy vs Hot chart, the X-axis is bounded (Hot). The Y-axis, however, is unbounded.
Talking about dying with the lie. Why on earth would you give someone this delusional access to the nuclear launch codes? Ever?
Note to Ms Warren - the Cherokees just denied it was ever yours in the first place, and no one can “take away” what you never had.
By the way, a “white” family’s tale of a belief in a dead ancestors “native” American ancsestry, does not a tribal heritage make.
We have had such a tale in my family, which we all heard as kids, but my father’s response to it was to call us “mutts” and tell us such considerations were not important.
True tribal heritage is a life long experience, not something someone invents from a DNA test. And, without that tribal-family experience, there is no claim the individual has TODAY to being “native American” in the sense of a continuing living part of the people’s settling North American long before the European colonists.
Hasn’t it been revealed that it’s actually Hispanic and not Indian?
