I blame this cold. Yup. That’s my excues. This cold. Had this thing for a good 8 days now. It was getting better but is now swinging around for an encore. Bed rest, soups, aspirin, rest, soup, liquid, rest, I know the drill.

I suggested the Vince Flynn books to you when you were had time to read...I thought of you when I started "The Lies of Spies", by Tim Tigner a few days ago. I thought about why I like the writers style so much and listed a few pluses for me that is.

1...chapters are perhaps no longer than 3 1/2 pages roughly.
2...Easy to keep everyone straight because of the none-clutter and short chapters.
3...With the short chapters the subject of every chapter is RIGHT to the point.
4...The book and action moves VERY fast and its so easy to stop and do something as your reading BECAUSE of the short chapters.
The main character is Kyle Achilles...rock climber/spy)...but much like the Mitch character.

I had surgery on Wednesday of this week so have been out of the loop on things for a few days.

I am feeling pretty good...some soreness...but all in all doing well.

We’re good. The water is back to normal levels but it’s still just mud and there’s a capsized boat hung on something out in the middle. People are out trying to clean up. The neighbor’s little grandsons were just here raking and picking up debris. That was super nice!
