Voting should be on the Saturday just before April 15.

Maybe they ought to flip to the European method of Sunday elections.

Polls are generally open for at least 12 hours a day.
I have never had a problem voting before or after work. I don't remember ever having to take time off from work to vote. And I've voted in just about every election for over 30 years.

If voting is not important enough for a person to find a way to do it, they shouldn’t be voting.

I have always been allowed to vote and be paid. Don’t know about the rest of the country.

Most people manage to vote who want to vote. Weird. On their way to work, On their way home from work. They run out during lunch. Some times they go home, collect the wife, and they go vote together. All this has gone on since the dawn of the republic, and all with no help from Steyer.
The folks who dont vote are not interested to vote, arent interested in the issues, and its OK that they dont vote.

The Democrat Party would like for “voters” to register for a party, and then every candidate that part runs would get a vote from each voter who registered for the party. Automatically. No need even to have polling places...

If you really have that little time get an absentee ballot. It is far easier to vote early or absentee than it used to be.
One time I did because I was under a tight deadline at work and I didn't know if I would get home early enough. I had to sign swearing that I would be out of the county on election day. Well, I worked just over the county line so yes I was out of the county.

🐎💨💩 Uh, no. In Nevada, early voting starts on Oct 20th ncluding weekends and past quitting time/before start time. If that doesn't work, you ain't train' very damn hard. Your state may differ.

This is ridiculous.
People do not have take unpaid time off from work. Polls tend to be open from 8 am to 8 pm, so people can go and vote before or after work.
In some places, like California, you can also vote absentee, just for asking.
To: mdittmar
Before mail in ballots I always voted early before going to work.
To: mdittmar
Utter nonsense
Most people have PTO. If not then they can use absentee ballots or early voting

There’s advance voting, absentee voting, and voting on election day. If a voter can’t find time to vote, he/she’s obviously not that interested, or knowledgeable.

In November 2016, about 40% of eligible voters did not cast a ballot. Some made a conscious decision not to go to the polls on Election Day.Well, you know, some days you just feel too dead to get up from the grave and vote ...
To: mdittmar
No. If you’re too stupid to register and get to the polls on your own you shouldn’t be voting.
I lost that argument, we now have all mail in ballots.
