Yesterday Bader beat Mitrione for the other spot in the title fight.
I’ll take Sonnen (Over Fedor am I nuts?), Bendo, Kongo (he actually got a KO in his last fight) and Shlemenko
I will take Fedor, Saad Awad, I love you, Benson, but I just don’t know, man, I’m rooting for you to win anyway, Kongo, and I’ll go with the numbers on Corrales.
Matt Mitrione got frickin’ destroyed by Bader. 3 10-8 rounds. Matt, ground game, get on it right now.
Mitrione had a bad night, I thought he’d do little better. I think Sonnen and Fedor is a tossup and thanks for the reminder it’s on tonight.
Mitrione said he almost exclusively worked wrestling in his camp for the Bader fight.
Also, Mitrione is 40 y/o. Time to hang it up pretty soon.
He’d need years of work to match Bader.
Wonderboy Thompson is the one striker I’ve seen recently who improved his grappling markedly.
Fedor’s great but a little long in the tooth.

It was shocking to see the difference in skill level between the two on the ground.

Afterward, Sonnen said he was hurt early and felt like he was “drowning” in the cage.

I wish the Spider was in Bellator so they could have a final grudge match.

I tuned out of UFC a couple of years ago; nothing like it used to be :p
He was retired for 3 years then singed a deal with Bellator and got back in the cage.
I think Chael, although Fedor is pretty good at evading submissions- wil be itneresting to see- both are over their prime now-

You’ve got to love Scott Corker for his marketing savvy, getting rich off Dana White’s discards. And selling tickets to watch two 50-year-old UFC has-beens chase each other around the cage in their walkers.
It bears mention that DW had been wooing Fedor ever since Zuffa bought the UFC but it took Corker to get him in the cage in the US.
cRap “artist” 50 Cent offered Khabib Nurmagomedov $2 million (the same amount as the purse from the McGregor fight that’s being withheld from him) if he’d ditch the UFC and move to Bellator. Khabib’s response?
“Just send me location.”
