Yet ANOTHER reason never to vote for him, though it’s not my vote he’ll need when there’s another Dem in office and they put him up for the UN. (Another reason to get us out of the UN.) I voted against some unremembered Republican candidate because he lied to get animals for his medical research. No matter how good someone is on conservative issues, I’m a one issue voter when it comes to animals.

What?...their animals! I enjoy their company. They are unquestioning loyal but, they lack one thing.
Always wanted a springer spaniel. Had 2 border collies and they’re absolutely special. Animals? Over most people anytime. Loyal, loving and true. My friend and I were walking toward a woman with a baby and a dog. She went for the baby. I went for the dog. But that’s the joy of best friends - like here - we can love different things and still love each other.

Had a champion English Springer (tri-color) that wandered when hunting. He’d stand up on pheasants but get easily distracted without ^constant^ work/birds. Great dog and the kids really loved him.
Went into the road and got hit. I still think of him as a true champion spaniel. But...

My deepest sympathy.
Husband is still hurting over a dog of his childhood hit by a motorcycle. When my wolfhound died, I dealt with it by writing a short story about him in a shopping mall food court, while crying my eyes out.
I do wish Trump had a dog, but I can understand germophobes. Bush’s dogs were one of his strong points for me. Still remember Johnson lifting his dog by the ears.
