Enough, or too much. Christine Ford, the brave new hero to feminists, expects America to believe she needed a second front door for her Palo Alto home because, more than three decades after Judge Brett Kavanaugh allegedly tried to rape her, she was still feeling claustrophobic. Although, as she said, the two front doors are not, alas, aesthetically pleasing, at least the professor felt as safe as any snowflake college student with her coloring books and Play-Doh. Still, one should like to say: Confess, lady of the bourgeois blues: The second front door is for your poor husband's sakea handy escape for him once you return from couples therapy!
For what a singular fraud is Christine Ford. To begin with, as Thomas Lipscomb has shown, she probably lied about the actual purpose of the second front door. And though she is not a licensed psychologist, Ford tried to use her psychological expertise to make people think her memory is infallible. Indelible in the hippocampus is the laughter, she put it with unintended comedy. But as I wrote in a recent article for American Thinker...

Indeed, as the retired psychiatrist Theodore Dalrymple demonstrates in his superb book, Admirable Evasions: How Psychology Undermines Morality (2015), psychology does far more harm than good, allowing people to use all sorts of external forces to evade responsibility for their own behavior. Fords scholarship seems typical of this terrible phenomenon. Social scientists like Ford are able to fool the public with the appearance of scientific legitimacy and intellectual sophistication. Meanwhile, much of what they do is ethically dubious, and from an intellectual standpoint, hardly more credible than astrology.

I could not agree more. I find it hard to believe this splot doesn’t rise to the level of sedition, although my lawyer hub argues that it doesn’t...

It could probably be characterized as a splot too, (maybe even a spluttering splot)!

Multi-syllable language does not make a liar into a truth teller. Baffle ‘em with Bull Sheite is the Alinsky mantra.

She is definitely “Not Afraid” to fly. Anyone who is terrified of flying will not fly anywhere and some of us won’t even drive to the airport or drive in the city. The minute I heard she flew from the west coast to the east coast, I figured her fear of flying was a lie. Then I heard she has flown several other places over the years and I knew her fear of flying was a lie. Fear stops people from doing these things. People who do fly may feel fearful and hesitant, but they still fly places. People who are truly afraid of flying, will not fly and some like me will not even drive to the airport or drive in the city - no way - it’s beyond my ability to stay calm when doing something I don’t want or need to do.

As one might expect, Fords scholarship attests to her interest and background in junk science. In May of 2008, the Journal of Clinical Psychology published Meditation With Yoga, Group Therapy With Hypnosis, and Psychoeducation for Long-Term Depressed Mood: A Randomized Pilot Trial, co-authored by Ford and a number of academics. The paper discusses how to use therapeutic techniques, including hypnosis, to alleviate depression, to assist in the retrieval of important memories, and to create artificial situations that will aid treatment.I think she licked the glowing Himalayan salt rock a little too much

Not in Maryland. Did I miss out?
Anyway, I’m 10 or 15 years too old to be the guy they’re looking for.

He had a caller call in last week who claimed she grew up with Christine Ford, said that back then she was known as Christy Blasey and said Christy was a problem kid. Use to cause a ton of problems for her parents, was into drugs and use to sleep around. Dont know if its true, but I thought that was interesting because Christine Ford came across to me as someone high on heroin when I first heard her speak, with her extreme vocal fry in her voice and this woman saying Ford did drugs pretty much confirmed what I suspected.
Do you not think it is very strange that officially and on the record, we know nothing about the accuser, Dr. Ford? She offered no evidence, and we are forbidden to ask anything at all about her past? Just bizarre!
How did these rules come about?

People caught one thing in the video of the testimony, after it Sheila Jackson Lee hands an envelope to Bromwich. This is shown on the televised footage. People have speculated that it was cash in the envelope and/or some type of payoff.

Mrs Fords handwork/ letter was meant to imply PTSD symptoms I guess. What freakish people leftists are. I think they think everyone is as stupid as they actually are.

However the voice of a 15 year old with vocal fry and uptalk was annoying and purposely done, to pluck at the the heart strings of the rubes who bought her malarkey(or pretended to).https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CWWusowYad0

I am convinced that Mitchell played Ford...for sure - knowing what we know now - it didn't really sink in when Mitchell asked Ford had she had any help in composing her letter, had she ever coached anyone on taking a polygraph - now with what we've heard from Ford's former boyfriend about her coaching her friend Monica McLean on the lie-detector and discovering that Mclean was with her in Rehobeth Beach when she wrote her letter, it would seem Mitchell and the Republicans knew about all this ahead of time and were laying a perjury trap for Ford all along - time will tell.....

She spoke in this affected style specifically to recall the image of a poor innocent teen in the minds of the audience. It worked on the Democrats because they wanted it to work, just as a hypnotized person willingly submits to the hypnotist.
