Hair salon manager Amy Wesselink says her life has been full of non-stop, endless, harassment since former employee Jordan Hunt was recently identified in a viral video as a man who allegedly kicked an anti-abortion demonstrator in Toronto.
Wesselink, the manager of Noble Studio 101, said the Parkdale hair salon and its staff have been getting hundreds of threatening calls, e-mails, Instagram messages and texts since Hunt was fired last Wednesday.
Im frustrated because weve been getting a lot of backlash as the former work place of Jordan, said Wesselink, who is married with four kids, ages one to 11.

Remember Charlie Hebdo.
That’s a very good point. I can’t see too many pro-life people giving the employer a hard time. She’s already fired him. The Anarchists thought ‘the rules did not allow’ any pushback for their violent, ignorant behavior.
The Boss, Amy Wesselake is very believable. She doesn’t deserve to lose her business or sense of safety over this.
My hope is that things calm down over the next few weeks.
Thing even calmed down for The Red Hen, back in June, but they had to close their doors for a few weeks first.
Either way people are going to be very careful who they hire in the future. Or should be. An employee does something stupid off the clock and this is the result.
yup
I read the comments from where this article came from and seems some think she knew what he was. Not sure why people would think that but in some regards when you work with people you do kinda get to know them.
Honestly in some photos of him? His hair looks like crap! I would never have hired him on that alone. A hairdresser who has crappy hair...nope not gonna happen.
Worked with a dude...that was a state board of Nursing....KNOWN sexual harasser..He was well known...by those in the know..and that worked with him.
Also worked with a gay dude...that was a great guy...Pleasant and fair minded....
Darn. I thought this was about the liberal online paper, The Salon.
“Worked with a dude...that was a state board of Nursing....KNOWN sexual harasser..He was well known...by those in the know..and that worked with him.”
Oh yea, can you say “stuck on stupid” and when they are sued out of existence what happens next?
You walk into a barbershop (or salon) and see two barbers (stylists). One has a crappy haircut, the other has a great haircut. Most gravitate towards the nicer haircut, but remember, the other frumpy barber is the one who gave him that haircut!
There’s an old joke about two barbers in the same shop, one with a nice haircut and one with a nasty haircut.
The punchline is barbers cut each other’s hair, so the barber with the bad haircut is the one you want.
The guy flew under the radar...because people didn’t want to say anything..............
are any callers upset that she fired the misogynistic homofascist?
I saw a reference in one of the articles that he was also charged in connection with an earlier assault incident.
Doesn’t sound like a one-off “didn’t mean to hit you” attacker.
my experience is different.
Look at the barber or hair stylist’s hair. If you don’t like their hair style, avoid. They think it looks good and will subtlety do things to make your head of hair look like theirs. Bowl cut, mullet, shaved up the side, bangs, etc.
No more excusing the enemy and their useful idiots. They all need to leave my universe.
In a two-barber shop, you go to the one with the worst haircut!
