I’m pretty sure all the non-Catholic Christian Presidents simply love Catholic and Jewish Judges too much to ever consider that.

Heck I’m just glad it is someone not out of the ivy league law factory.

bray, I’m going on the assumption that they are picking the best that they can get and at the same time get through to the Confirmation. If she, as a Catholic, has anywhere near the fortitude and inner strength that Justice Kavanaugh has...then this former Catholic would be proud to have her as a Justice on the Supreme Court.

I’ll fancy that if we did a look at left-leaning past Justices we’d find a few that claimed to be non-Catholic Christian that didn’t even begin to look at the Constitution in any of their rulings.

Check into law school enrollment and the history of SCOTUS nominations. No doubt there is some excellent potential, but it boils down to the right place and time. Divine Providence and all that.
