I know many hear felt there was something that was just off with Christine Ford's testimony, but didn't quite know that it was- Well, Here's A Video discussing 'tells' that Ford gave off during her questioning that will attempt to explain to you why you felt that. For those interested, the body language expert points out several key gestures, reactions that could show that Ford was possibly being less than honest with some of her answers to key questions. Here's the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uGxr1VQ2dPI
about a minute or two into the video the expert begins commentary on her actions- the video is a little long, but worth watching if you’re interested in spotting gestures people do when they are likely lying
She was well coached.
I didn’t buy the baby voice, but maybe I’m just a cynic. Until I see a video of her from before 2012, using this same baby voice, I will assume that was an act.
Lawyers will probably say later “it was to protect her anonymity”
if you’ll watch the video, you’ll see her tuck her chin onto her neck to get the flemmy “I’m so traumatized’ mousey baby voice- then immediately when that act is over, she perks right up and loses that voice and acts cheery- The experts points it out specifically-
Her whole persona cried foul to me. So manipulative. :(
I don’t buy the “Pretty Pose”...oh so phony besides she isn’t pretty at all and never was (which may be part of her problem).
Video: I did not leak Ford's letter, Feinstein says...
SEN. COTTON: Can you tell us that your staff did not leak it?
SEN. FEINSTEIN: Well, I don't believe my staff would leak it. I have not asked that question directly, but...I do not believe they would.
SEN. COTTON: Do you know that? How in the world did that get in the hands of the press?
SEN. FEINSTEIN: (at the 1:56 mark she turns to talk to her staff, then answers Sen. Cotton) The answer is no.
SEN. COTTON: Have you asked your staff? Or other staff members of the Judiciary Committee?
SEN. FEINSTEIN: The staff says that they did not.
SEN. COTTON: Or other staff members of the Judiciary Committee?
SEN. FEINSTEIN: I just did...pardon me? (turns, listening to staff member) Well, Jennifer reminds me I have asked her before about it...and that's true.
SEN. COTTON: Well, somebody leaked it, if it wasn't you.
SEN. FEINSTEIN: Well, it was, uh, I am telling you, it was not...I did not...I mean...I was asked to keep it confidential...and...and...I'm criticized for that too.
Now, I don't know about the rest of you, but from the 1:56 mark where she turns to her staffer, she stinks to high heaven of being a liar. Not just the body language and the stuttering, but the having to turn to her staffer who was smart enough to know that it was a bold-faced lie, that she had never asked her staff if they had leaked the letter, but not because she asked them, but because her staffer knew full well that it was the stupidest answer to give, that she had "not asked that question directly". Of course if she hadn't leaked it herself, she HAD to ask her staff. Otherwise, she looks completely incompetent at best, and a liar at worst.
she was definitely doing the ‘Aren’t I cute” gestures- which is, like the experts says, a diversionary tactic to take thee focus off the fact that she didn’t know the answers- like the expert says it’s a case of ‘focus on me, not the man behind the curtain’ scenario- she did it several times when she didn’t like the questions, or know the answers-
yeah i was that- she was desperate there- and pleading with her aids to fix the issue practically- which they did by selling ford down the river
dang, ‘saw that’ not ‘was that’ lol
Despicable, treasonous hag.
Cotton, Cornyn, Cotton, Cornyn, Cotton, Cornyn, Cotton, Corny Cotton, I don’t know . .
Heres Christine Fords timeline:
1982 - Something may or may not have happened with another 2 (or 4) teenagers at a party, she cannot remember who threw the party, where the party was held, who she was with or how she got home. She was drinking and said nothing to anyone.
1983, 1984, 1985, 1986, 1987, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002 - she said nothing.
July 25, 2003: President George W. Bush nominated Kavanaugh to the United States Court of Appeals for the D.C Circuit - she said nothing. 2004, 2005 - she said nothing.
May 11, 2006: The United States Senate Committee on the Judiciary recommended confirmation. Kavanaugh subsequently confirmed by the United States Senate - she said nothing.
June 1, 2006: Kavanaugh sworn in by Justice Anthony Kennedy - she said nothing.
2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 - she said nothing. 2012 She vaguely remembers something may have happened in 1982, yet doesnt name Kavanaugh and still said nothing to authorities.
2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 - becomes an anti-trump activist.
2018 - now 36 years later, with Kavanaughs SCOTUS confirmation looming, she pens an anonymous letter with grave accusations against Kavanaugh regarding foggy circumstance that occurred while they were both minors, then reveals herself and DEMANDS an FBI investigation before testifying to her incredible allegations.
Dammit. Going back and forth in these threads I got them mixed up in my head...Cornyn, dammit, Cornyn!
And thank you. Doesn’t make me look less foolish, but the point is indeed the same!
What? You doubt her testimony of nothing else entered her mind but Brett Kavanaugh
“seared in my memory” bit?
(Cough) Somebody else also has his fantasy non-existing Cambodia trip “seared in his memory”.
She was a ridiculous spectacle!
But the idiots on FOX News swallowed it hook, line and sinker.
