I have given a good number of depositions & have testified numerous times during my life, in Corporate Business cases, and while I have been coached over subject matter and details by attorneys, when the time came for me to be deposed or become a testifying witness...it was me alone sitting in the chair of inquiry.
I have also watched & listened to many "Congressional Inquiries" and those being questioned always sit alone, with their attorneys usually sitting behind them, to be available for a word or two.
But...I have never, ever, seen the Orwellian, "Big Brother, 1984" duo act put on by the two Christine Ford lawyers who literally controlled her entire testimony, every word she uttered, as if she was either, incompetent or unable to stand on her own two feet under testimony. It may as well been their testimony rather then hers. I guess this is legal and allowed, but, it also reveals that Ms. Ford is ill equipped to go it alone.
It should be noted that Judge, Brett Kavanaugh was the one and only to testify alone...no legal eagles around him.
And that HUGE Black Guy that I guess was her “BODYGUARD?” omg.

It’s consistent with the rumor going around that she was under hypnosis. They were less her lawyers than her handlers.

I’m guessing they didn’t trust her to stay on script so they were there to make sure she did. When you’re lying to helps to have someone there with the ‘facts’ just in case. She was the most non-credible individual I’ve ever seen and all the media people did were praise her for how believable she was.
And the attorneys made the most of it. Don’t recall EVER seeing attorneys speaking into the mic like that before. They aren’t the witness; Blowey is.

I don’t believe that for a minute. Instead of “she was used, it’s “she took one for the team.”
She’s been a Trump-hating, pussy-hat-wearing, outspoken (probably not in a little girl voice) liberal activist for years. She volunteered to do this, and was happy about it. She had to have been involved in the scrubbing of her personal info online, a project that isn’t done overnight. She had to tell them them all social media sites.
Does anyone know what school her brother went to? I keep hearing that the catholic boys school socialized with the catholic girls school. What school did the Holton Arms girls socialize with?

The only way you could think she was used would be if you think she was being truthful. She wasn’t. She is part of the conspiracy to obstruct a Trump appointment to the Supreme Court by any means necessary. She was lying her ass off. I can’t believe that those on TV truly who say she was credible truly believe it...on either side of the aisle.
And Georgetown Prep kids would socialize with Georgetown Visitation girls and Holy Child.
Ford knew these students via columbia country club.
Ok, then maybe everyone is being misdirected. What if she was attacked by a Landon boy? What if her attack happened closer to home where she COULD walk home after it happened.
I wonder if her handlers didn’t preclude the potential of Blasey-Ford’s grandmother speaking out as well.
According to her testimony, Blasey-Ford was attending her grandmother’s funeral around the time her handlers arranged a lie detector test for her. This was also the time when her Internet history was being removed across many sites. That is a big operation.
I noticed the same thing. Props? Anytime I was seposed the my counsel never sat at the table. I always assumed that was by design.
If her father ran Burning Tree why did she go on a 20 minute drive to Columbia? Aren’t there homes with swimming pools near where she lives? I’ve never understood that, and who would make that drive twice a day. Why?
I can’t say I have seen a lot of hearings of this kind - I usually just read about them afterward. I do remember the Oliver North Iran-Contra hearings, and he consulted his lawyers before most answers. (The lawyers never spoke into the mic, at least not that I saw.)
She was on the swim/dive team at Columbia. Not sure what the status of Burning tree and swim/dive league would have been. It was literally known for mens golf.
If your neighborhood or subdivision didn’t have a summer pool for members, you would have to join a country club or YMCA in order to compete. Montgomery County Maryland is a huge swim club county, with more than a dozen divisions made up of mulitiple swim clubs in each division. Fords family was obviously very well off, even compared to the other boys named. Joining a country club in Montgomery county wasn’t in of itself a measure of wealth, many areas didn’t have summer pools and if your dad was a golfer joining a country club would have been the answer.
Similarly, there is a great set of videos onYouTube of a lawyer and policeman who BOTH agree you should never talk to any policeman et al without counsel present...even if you are 100% innocent. The potential for distortion and twisting and lying is too great and one's freedom is at stake.
Yea, I know...we want our guy on the SC, she started this (well...DiFi did but I digress) and this has taken on the smell of a witch hunt. Fair enough. That said, I sided with Col North's defense in that situation, and notwithstanding all of the above, I think there are better points of attack than that of counsel helping a client.
Ok so we have a start. We need to find out who drove her every day to Columbia and what other girls were on the team.
