That got Blumenfeld thinking about the word “veteran” and how it’s unfortunately tied to the military and nasty military things like wars. Isn’t it time to expand the definition of veteran to include those who advocate for change through peace?

When Civil War II breaks out they can call themselves “veterans” while they cower behind street barricades as we real Veterans shoot them down like the dogs that they are. Might cut off a few of their ears off too.

I’m pretty sure they do. Back in 1979 when I graduated from college, I was approached by a group known for high IQ membership.
I took their qualification test and they were delighted to extend membership to me.
On my second day with this ridiculous think tank group, they decided they wanted to protest ROTC on campus and invited me. I quit their organization the same day and have never regretted my decision.
I’m a veteran, a fact they overlooked.
I hate those people beyond description.
