Ahhh, Mairdie, I love you my friend! I wish I had an opportunity to ride across country now and have a lunch with you like your other friend. You are such a beautiful, uplifting lady.
Now, I see other ladies on bikes regularly. Wasn’t quite the same world through the last 15 years of the 20th century. It was FUN tho! This precious husband I have now bought me another bike for my birthday last year. I’m not as physically able to go distances now. Nor am I physically able to go ride any day I want. But on my strong healthy days I can still get really good prayer time and personal mental stress relief from being in the wind on that bike. Only other activity that brings me such great prayer time is gardening, God is good to have given me the opportunity to enjoy those pursuits.
