It's not about Kavanaugh, it's about abortion
Self

Posted on 09/27/2018 6:20:52 AM PDT by J. Worthington

I read something this morning that rings in my heart as truth. That the current fiasco isn't about Judge Kavanaugh, it's about abortion. I started looking for empirical evidence to substantiate this...asking if any Freepers can point me in the right direction. I see that Dem Kamala Harris is fundraising on this vote and cites the danger to Roe v Wade as the very first concern she has if Judge Kavanaugh is appointed. Trying to change a few minds in my circle who have taken the bait of "a woman may have been harmed." Looking for more evidence. Thanks in advance!

No, it’s not. It is about destroying the Republican Party. If they can do this successfully it will set back the republicans fifty years. It’s about control of Supreme Court. It’s about keeping the media in power. It’s not just about abortion.

All of this is the same as the Salem Witch trials, where some towns people would lie and make false accusations against residents in town, including bringing young girls into court to lie about those residents just as today’s Democrats are doing.

No, it is not about abortion at not least specifically. I personally don’t believe the Dems give a hoot about abortion - or about blacks, Latinos, gays for that matter.

What they do care about is votes and the vote margin between D and R. Those margins must be maintained or the Dems are toast. And they know it.

So if abortion tests 55 to 45 with women then the Dems are for it. That’s the motivation. Do they individually believe in abortion? Who knows?

Perhaps. Or perhaps it’s about what Kavenaugh knows. He was lead investigator on the Vince Foster suicide and was also on Ken Starr’s staff back in the impeachment days.

Actually, it’s not really even about socialism.

It’s not even about abortion per se - it’s about domination, the will to power, by any means necessary, at any cost.

True. What we are seeing is the fight of the satanists to keep their human sacrifices being offered. Great spiritual war. If we do not stop the legal sacrifices, all else is moot.

A couple of disconcerting articles:

1. No government shutdown as Trump indicates he’ll sign $674 billion defense bill, and wait for wall money

https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/no-government-shutdown-as-trump-indicates-hell-sign-674-billion-defense-bill-and-wait-for-wall-money

2. Anti-abortion groups call on Trump to veto spending bill over Planned Parenthood funding

https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/policy/healthcare/anti-abortion-groups-call-on-trump-to-veto-spending-bill-over-planned-parenthood-funding

So. No wall, still funding legal pre-born genocide.

What’s with that?

For the last couple of years our birth rate has dropped to historic lows. Same thing happened where I was (southeast PA). Closed all older elementary schools and built 3 or 4 combined elementary and middle schools. It’s actually better for the kids stress wise to stay in the same building but taxes, over 4k a year now.

Abortion would not be threatened in the least by the unconstitutional Roe v. Wade decision being overturned.

Look at the mobs of young women in the streets of Ireland joyously celebrating the repeal of the Irish abortion ban.

Within two weeks of Roe being overturned, all 50 State Legislatures will be in emergency session to preserve the right of women to kill their babies.

Yup, there are millions of women who might be against everything the left stands for, but will vote for Democrats 100% of the time because of abortion. They would literally turn our country socialist, have our guns taken away, our borders flooded the economy tanked, and would put our nation’s security at risk just for abortion.

No it isn’t. Nobody believes there will ever be a repeal. This is about the industry that abortion is a part of. One about to be exposed.

I say it’s 50% about abortion and 50% about the left hating election results and doing anything they can to either overturn them (i.e. impeach Trump) or prevent the elected officials from doing what they were elected to do (i.e. select the next SC justice).

Of late it’s been all about sexual assault. It’s the new racism. So every Republican on the verge of a change (i.e. picking a new SC justice) is automatically getting that accusation.

".... Trying to change a few minds in my circle who have taken the bait of 'a woman may have been harmed'...."

If those few minds in "your circle" seriously believe these 11th hour vague, nonspecific allegations from 4 decades ago, then I would tighten up your circle if I were you.

Only democRATS and liberal partisan hacks (but then I repeat myself) believe any of these allegations.

And I don't think most of them actually believes these fabrications and lies, but act as if they are true because they want to kill Kavanaugh's nomination.

Not people I would tolerate in my circle.

I'm just sayin'.....

I actually don’t think it’s about abortion.

I think it’s about the Second Amendment.

People like Feinstein and the ‘progressives’ have a very ugly future in mind for flyover Americans if they can successfully interpret away the Second Amendment.

Abortion would be small potatoes. With the Second Amendment out of the way, all the rest would be within their grasp.

Here, read this piece:

Surprise: Democratic Operative Admits Derailing Kavanaugh is Really About 'Saving' the Supreme Court from Trump

Brian Fallon is a former top spokesman for Hillary Clinton's failed presidential campaign, a confidante to Sen. Chuck Schumer, and an-ex senior official in Eric Holder's Justice Department. He's also now the public face of a left-wing group devoted to defeating President Trump's judicial nominees, with the most urgent priority being doing whatever is necessary to prevent Republicans from filling the current Supreme Court vacancy. In an interview with the New York Times, Fallon unambiguously admits what the Brett Kavanaugh destruction project is part of a high-stakes, two-step strategy to thwart Trump -- via a former aide to Mitch McConnell:

That quote comes from a Times piece entitled, "The Democratic Dream: Defeat Kavanaugh, Win the Senate and Stop Trump Supreme Court Picks." This effectively echoes the posture adopted by a Senate Judiciary Committee member, who recently fantasized -- out loud -- about derailing Kavanaugh and holding Kennedy's seat open for two years. That same member has also said that Kavanaugh's judicial conservatism makes him more likely to be a sexual assailant in her mind, and that the accused has the burden of proof in this case. Appallingly, she hasn't been the only Senator on that panel to endorse that outrageous standard:
