I was in somebody's car, and they had the GPS with Arnold Schwarzenneger's voice.
It's fine for women to do play by play for women's sports. But NBA, NFL, MLB? NO Men's sports were about the only place left where alpha guys could be alpha guys. Female sportscasters will further sissify the NFL. I'm so Luddite that I believe there should be situations where men and women should be separated....college dorms, the military, some clubs, bathrooms, for example. Maybe one reason that women are perpetually offended is that there are no spaces left where relationships and activities can happen without the concern about sexual intention.
How do these young folks mate? Without flirting and guys occasionally doing dumb stuff, where's the fun?

Bama plays on SEC Network this weekend. They might get this same woman.

When I hear a female voice announcing a football game, I change the channel.
This is a guy’s sport, and it includes cheerleaders. It’s violent, strategic, tactical, and passionate.
There’s room for women in the booth.
You get an attractive woman who’s passionate about football who can announce a game, and a color commentary person who is male who can talk about the technical aspects, it could work.
SportsCenter is the model. Linda Cohn is who they should have picked to announce games, and they should get Tony Romo in there for color.
She’s beautiful, she’s sassy, and she’s good at her job. Romo is a revelation as a color guy.
If there’s chemistry, it could work.
If they’re not in bikini’s, don’t expect ratings to improve.
She's too monotone for me. Sunday dinners at the parents, I'd put their kitchen radio on, and the local talk station carries the Yankees.
They really complain when the NYYs bump Rush or the drive time guy.
Now THAT will certainly help ratings hee hee hee!
