Today rush said, and I quote:
"GOP Must Confirm Kavanaugh or Kiss Midterms Goodbye"
Sep 24, 2018
RUSH: "If Grassley doesnt get a handle on this and just do and Ill tell you something else, which everybody also knows. If the Republicans do not get this vote taken and have Kavanaugh confirmed, you can kiss the midterms goodbye."
I disagree, Rush, we are not going to punish President Trump because of Squish Grassley's cowardice, Susan Collins hatred of the President or any other RINO action.
Sir, we are going to go vote, we are going to give the President a super majority so that the likes of Squish Grassley and Baby in the womb hating RINO Collins will no longer be able to threaten him with their vote.
I agree.
We Republican voters are sick to death of our do-nothing elected Republicans.
They have all the majority they need to do all the stuff WE want and that they promised us if we gave them that majority.
But they do nothing but undermine Trump and scratch their private parts as democrats trample the constitution and destroy the rule of law.
I REALLY am getting near the end of voting for them just because.. Id rather hang them.
Yes, but not as uniformed as the demonrat voters.
*************
Rat voters are well informed , they’ll tell you so ,,, it’s unfortunate that so much of what they know just isn’t true.
I’m in the middle. I share your sentiment, however I am going to make an exception while Trump is in office. He has sacrificed so much, born the slings and arrows, that voting to maintain his numbers is the least I feel I can do. After Trump, eff the rino tools. I’m already not too excited that I must vote for swamp creature DeWine in Ohio. Whatever.
“Rush is right, if Kavanaugh fails, Republicans will fail.”
Oh?
And that leaves the idiots that stayed home....where?
That’s incredibly frustrating to read. Their inaction lends itself to the continuation of policies and activities that they despise, like abortion. I understand that they were disappointed by Congressional failure, but to give up the fight is worse than failure, at least in my book. Sad.
It’s like they are completely depending on the Lord to do the work, when Biblically it seems that he usually encouraged people to challenge evil.
Lets teach those Republicans a lesson by giving Dems solid majorities in the House and Senate.
I must add that I have seen many many here utter the same thing. Many whine that they won't vote if the Wall is not funded or this or that. They are malcontents who don't understand the consequences if the House flips. Their response to me is, "I don't care."
I’ve been looking at Spanberger signs in people’s yards for two months - very depressing. The Brat signs are finally showing up, thank goodness.
It may be close, they have imported a bunch of people from New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, etc. into the west end.
Conservatives are to the Republican party as blacks are to the democratic party...a voting block kept in place by false promises.
Well, yeah, we are. But don’t tell anyone. ;-)
In this particular case, it is not a matter of “do-nothing” Republicans as much as it is the Republicans trying to play nice. Since the Democrats are not playing nice, the Republicans don’t need to. They need to show that they can make deadlines stick and draw some lines in the sand.
Playing nice make Republicans look like buffoons. This whole story is playing out like a B-grade horror movie where the players are “surprised” that the killer came back to life and were, thus, totally unprepared.
Republicans should act like adults who are keeping the “children” in line.
We all need to vote and take at least one friend who is unlikely to vote because of all of this chaos with us.
JoMa
Yeah, I guess that's why the Dems have lost over 1,400 races since 2010, Repubs hold Congress, and Donald Trump is President.
Right you are, sjm.
It’s quite obvious to me that at this juncture, us deplorables and the like-minded Republicans need to pull out all the stops; put the blinders on and return this great country as the land of the free; the home of the brave.
The window of opportunity to get it done in a civilized manner is closing.
You and I, by the mere fact that we're engaged and here on FR, are going to vote, and vote Republican.
But the majority of Trump voters in swing states such as Michigan, Ohio, and Wisconsin, the ones that perhaps ventured out to the polls for the first time in a long time to vote for Trump, may well decide to stay home for the mid terms.
I’ll put Rush’s record of being right over your record any day. He has an uncanny ability of predicting the future. Rush is the greatest psychic since Nostradamus.....and far more accurate!
Whatever happens, I intend to vote for whatever Republicans I can. Id rather eat dog turds than vote for people who have promised to take us back to 1.5% GDP & job killing regs.
