Is this credible? Hey, would a man who turned a porn star who reneged on a payoff into a paragon of civic virtue lie? Early this morning, Michael Avenatti publicly accused Brett Kavanaugh of running child-care centers in the 1980s where satanic abuse took place. Oh wait, wrong social panic!
Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh faced a storm of new sexual misconduct allegations Sunday after attorney Michael Avenatti said he had knowledge that Kavanaugh and high school friend Mark Judge targeted women with drugs and alcohol in order to “allow a ‘train’ of men to subsequently gang rape them.” …
In Avenatti’s email, a screenshot of which he posted to Twitter, the lawyer told Davis that he had “significant evidence of multiple house parties in the Washington D.C. area during the early 1980s” where Kavanaugh, Judge and others “would participate in the targeting of women with alcohol/drugs.”
Avenatti included a list of questions for Senate investigators to ask Kavanaugh, including: “Did you ever attend any house party during which a woman was gang raped or used for sex by multiple men?”
Avenatti issued another tweet in which he insisted that he decoded the gang-rape conspiracy from reading Kavanaugh’s yearbook. I wish I was kidding:
Gee, how did the FBI miss that in six background checks? Full disclosure: My yearbooks from high school have more than one inscription that reads, “May you have all your ups and downs in bed.” At the time it was adolescent wishful thinking, bit now I’m pretty sure that disqualifies me for public service. Was that code for sexual assault, Mr. Morrissey?
It’s insane. It’s so ridiculous that one has to wonder whether Avenatti might inadvertently crash the whole anti-Kavanaugh project with the backlash.

Why is Avenatti still on Twitter? James Woods was banned for a meme and Twitter explained: “We received a report about one of your Tweets which includes text and imagery that has the potential to be misleading in a way that could impact the election.” Sounds like what Avenatti is doing, doesn’t it?
And Colin Kaepernick though he was fighting for what he believed in! All these people who say ‘just give up’, need to remember that some things ARE worth fighting for!!
This is so far over the top that Republicans need to lead with this in every interaction with Democrats—vote against Kavanaugh if you believe this, else for Kavanaugh if you have even a shred of self-respect. Time for some hardball politics. Republicans need to crawl out of their safe spaces and defend Kavanaugh, even if they don’t support Trump. Those asking for Trump’s help need to do something to prove they are deserving of that support. Sick of wimp wristed Republicans that demand our vote because they are Republican. Sorry, act like one.

Yes, his “insane accusations are having the precise opposite effect as he intended,” but only on the thinking part of the American people. That doesn’t include much of the population. Most people will only see or hear the headline “Kavanaugh accused of more sexual misconduct” and find him guilty in their weak minds. Insane accusations like this are entirely about capturing the day’s headlines and using that thin gruel to shape opinion, nothing more.

I have never read or have seen such utter crap in all my life. The Christine Ford story is the funniest one, with her star 4 witnesses saying they don’t know what she is talking about. The new one, Jane, has a bestie from high school through now who has said Jane confided in her with everything, but never mentioned or said anything about this before. She had to “make the accusation, access her memories, get a lawyer, come out and tell and ask for an FBI investigation” Sam events Christine did. Both were alcoholics and both are hard line democrats. Jane saying “I didn’t want to see or touch a penis until I was married”. So what was she doing at such parties where things like this happen often?

Grassley should announce that any criminal grievances can be taken up with a prosecutor for charges. We are voting.

As long as there appear to be no penalties for the Dems making wild accusations, this will NOT stop.

A sitting US Senator being able to present such ‘evidence’ is disgusting.
Maybe some Dem voters will realize that they have been led down the path to the Garden of Evil for many years and they will change their voting habits.
I would think that as head of the Federal Judiciary John Roberts would have a direct interest in running Av’s claims of judicial misconduct to ground by appointing a senior Appellate level Judge to hear the claims and having Federal Marshall drag Av before said judge to testify under oath as to what he knows and what evidence and witness does he have to support this. The credibility and fairness of the entire federal judiciary is at stake.
Well, to be fair... They miss a hell of A LOT! The FBI are just political operatives nowadays. I wouldn’t trust them to tie my shoes.
