This is the same department of the FBI that works hand in hand with DJT to check out people he wishes to nominate for official positions. Think of it as part of his PR department.
He has a position to fill He and his staff look over the list of possible candidate This branch of FBI investigates their background and he chooses from those who pass their scrutiny. If he has any questions about their report, he know by name who to call to check it out.
That is why I’ve been saying that the FBI has already started investigating and this FFFlake investigation may simply be a guise to put already identified facts and material in the record.

In my opinion NO! she won't be. This investigation is about Judge Kavanaugh.

Many years ago I had the FBI come and ask me if I knew so and so. He was applying for a government job. They basically asked how I knew him and what was he like. They did not, and I believe would not, examine my background to determine if I was telling the truth or not about what I said of this person.

It is my opinion they will only go interview the people Ford has named as knowing Kavanaugh in order to inter their reports into the FBI file.

PEACHTREE CITY, Ga. — A Georgia man is accused of stealing 150 pounds of waffle mix from a former employer and flipping it to a syrupy stream of buyers.

Police say Nelson drove to his former employer’s storage facility in August and stole five boxes of Golden Malted waffle batter. Bergh says Nelson then covertly sold it to buyers who contacted him about the stolen dough.
