At 7:09 and rainy, after tweeting his support for Kavanaugh, POTUS hopped in his motorcade leaving from South Portico on his way to a dinner event.
White House officials say the dinner is with supporters to benefit House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthys Protect the House joint fundraising committee.
Inquiries for more details about the dinner from Protect the House were not returned.
Your pooler did not see POTUS get in his automobile. Its pretty dark and wet.

At 7:15, POTUS motorcade arrived at Trump International Hotel for the fundraising dinner to benefit Protect the House. The very short ride was uneventful.
POTUS was not seen entering hotel. Pool is holding in the Patton room.

The article says it’s just rumor. Probably true, though some of those have denied it.
No one from the minority will vote to recommend him, so it will take some fancy footwork to get him out of the Committee IMO.

The rumor mill comment is only about the Dems, for the full Senate vote.
All that is needed to move K out of committee is a vote.
Now, this insider says they have the votes to approve his nomination and move it out to the full Senate.

Blumenthal saw no irony in his questioning Kavanaugh with the line about “False in one thing, false in all” when he himself lied about being in Vietnam.
Blumenthal is a textbook example of the phrase.

The Committee rules say a member of the minority has to vote to end debate in the Committee for a vote.
