I was VERY disappointed in Mitchell. She began with soft, leading questions which led to ... NOTHING! She never got beyond the soft, introductory questions. She set up the mark and never fired NOTHING! Blanks.

Expect democrats to come HARD at Kavanaugh. He will have a much more difficult time of this than she did. Feinstein recommended the lawyer. Envelopes are being passed between senators and the lawyer in “secret”. The republican side has something up their sleeve. Let’s see it.

Poor Kav, such pressure. And all he has is the truth behind him, poor guy. Not enough in this day and age apparently. He has to actually act right and say exactly the right thing in exactly the right way. Nobody could meet those expectations. Well, Trump did last night :-) he was awesome. But I don’t think Kavanaugh is used to the Limelight as much. Prayers going his way!

I think she showed some inconsistency in Ford’s story. Set up that the leak came from the democrats and the democrats were using her for political purposes.

In my opinion the questioner for the Pubs did an outstanding job especially at the end.
She showed that Ms Ford was being used as a tool by her lawyers and the Dems.
Also showed how Ford had not been given the help she really needs to fully remember and process what actually happened to her. It allows the Senators to say they don’t think she’s lying but maybe misremembering.

I think she showed some inconsistency in Ford’s story.At the end she did a good job blowing away Ford's claim of being so emotionally ruined. Getting Ford to acknowledge that she had further social contact with the judge the remainder of her sophomore year of school at 5 or six additional parties she attended with Kavanaugh attending the parties. Plus getting her to state there was no negative interaction between her and the judge at these parties after the party where she felt she was raped and almost about to be killed.
