Grassley already told her they would come to her in California.
She looked at her horoscope and it said not to fly.
She, with the assistance of her lawyer, is now in control of the presidency, the congress, and the supreme court. She is sticking her finger up at the patriarchy.

I wonder of Dr. Ford has considered the perilous position she has put herself in.
Now that her accusation is out there, if there’s any chance it either isn’t true, or isn’t persuasive, her untimely death could become preferable to either - it would essentially fix the accusation as it is, without it being able to be confirmed or denied by her testimony. Since the people she’s associated herself with (the Left) have left a trail of suspicious and advantageous deaths in their wake, it might be a good idea to lay low for awhile.
What happened to all those cries of “We’re just as tough as men! We can handle ANYTHING!” “I am WOMAN.. hear me ROAR!!”
Now it’s “Protect me,” “I’m traumatized,” and “I’m too afraid to fly.”
Even her lawyers can't explain that question?
