It's a good thing DeBlASSio or the moron he got for a schools chancellor aren't in charge of a hospital. You'd have doctors operating on you who never went to medical school, but they're black or Hispanic, so they're qualified. ALL that the schools chancellor moron Carranza has EVER talked about since he arrived is "equality" and "diversity". Not a word about academic achievement, except to make excuses for why blacks and Hispanics haven't made much. No mention of their cutting classes, disrupting classes, failing to do any work, hanging out with gangs, etc. Naw---it's that the schools are not diverse enough.

By lottery. Whew, I have a chance! I was worried my sad attempts at stick figures wouldn’t get me in.

Just following the lead of hollywood, the music industry and whoever sells expensive “art” to the government. Artistic ability and talent haven’t been important for a very long time.

So, in other words, the CPA is saying that in order to be more ‘diverse’, as in letting more minority students enroll, they no longer will hold auditions. This is de facto saying that minorities are not as good as those students that passed auditions previously.

They’re going to diversify by admitting some heterosexual kids.

This is de facto saying that minorities are not as good as those students that passed auditions previously. And that's really sad, because many minorities do well in the Arts. The lottery may not allow the talented, hard working students to be recognized. Just my guess, I'm not in the least artistic.

This is not a whole lot different than what Obungo did with the air traffic controllers.
Think about that next time you fly.

Make the school completely diverse by forcing all of the White students out and making them attend a school all by themselves, where merit matters, and where they are punished every single day by the absence of diversity.

Indeed it is. Zoe Saldana got her start in the performing arts and even performed with a group in Brooklyn. If you have not seen the film “Center Stage”, I highly recommend it. Her performance in Swan Lake is magnificent.
