A Texas father-son duo are charged with murder after a dispute with a neighbor over a mattress turned deadly, shocking video shot by the deceased mans wife appears to show. Warning Graphic Footage: Viewer discretion strongly advised
In video of the Sept. 1 incident released Wednesday, Kara Box captured her husband Aaron Howard arguing over trash in their Abilene alleyway with next-door neighbors John Miller, 67, and his son Michael Miller, 31. We had thrown out a twin mattress in a dumpster in our alley a few days before the shooting, Box commented on the video, according to The Star-Telegram. You have to have the mattress in the dumpster or they will not haul it away.
Box says the Millers grabbed the mattress out of the dumpster and threw it on Howards property, sparking a shouting match between the neighbors. Michael Miller who lives with his father ran went inside their home and got a shotgun, The Telegram wrote in a Sept. 2 article following the incident. Someone went into Howards home and retrieved a baseball bat. The showdown ended with Howard shot after he stepped forward following a threat from Miller, who warned, If you come within 3 feet of me, Im going to kill you. The Millers were arrested later that day. The Telegram reports they have since posted a $25,000 bail.
Judging from the size and demeanor of the victim, and the paltry bail on a murder charge, I think you probably have a valid point.
Don’t see how a murder rap sticks.
I imagine they claimed he took a swing at the old man with the bat so he responded with his gun. That would seem to be self-defense, especially since the two big-belly rednecks will sing the same song and if the only other witness is Mr. Orange’s widow, who would not be considered to be objective.
Yes, good game plan. Should have retreated and called the police.
Infowars is banned here.
Listing snuff films is one good reason.
Infowars is satanic.
I mean, maybe they get off these charges, but I suspect they won't. But even if they do, they were in jail for a while and they are facing enormous costs and horrible jeopardy.
Not since it was banned from the social media giants it's not.
“James4:1 What is causing the quarrels and fights among you? Dont they come from the evil desires at war within you?”
Yep.
And look who is profiting and using images of this to enrich themselves while enticing people to gaze superfluously upon murder, something very bad for the spirit and soul.
I dunno, I think this video has a place here. It allows people to think through outcomes before they have to live them.
Theres just so much wrong with this incident.
I read a book about the Zulu Wars.
The Zulu just couldnt believe that a puff of smoke and a little hole could kill someone.
Always take a guy with a gun serious.
And he had a baseball bat?
Anyone that would f*** with someone holding a shotgun is a mental case, and therefore dangerous just on the face of it.
I'll look after my own spirit and soul, thank you very much.
“Trailer Park Boyz”
Saw it earlier, dude should/could have walked away. That was flat ugly murder.
Deadly force over trash is not worth it.
I noticed the video didn't show the actual shooting or what the big Orange guy was doing when he was shot. I would conclude he was doing exactly what the guy with the gun told him not to do, and that was advancing too close in a threatening manner.
Who in Sam Hill would pull TWO bedbug infested mattresses out of a dumpster?
I thought Infowars was verboten on FR.......
Actually they will, but the prices are pretty high. It looks like you have a choice between a flat fee of $67 or $41 an hour for the truck and crew.

Looks like it would be cheaper to hire a Mexican with a pickup truck. Or at those prices, cut it up an throw a bag's worth in the garbage every week.
Apparently, several neighbors share a 300 gallon container, so if he filled it up with the mattress there was no place for the shooter to put his household garbage that week. (Curbside customers get individual 96 gallon rolling carts) http://abilenetx.gov/city-hall/departments/public-works/solid-waste-services/collection-services
