All I can say is What a maroon! Nyuk, nyuk.
The NFL didn’t think about getting ALAN Jackson? He’s from Noonan, GA. HE’d be great. If he wanted to do it, that is.
Someone should review every song they have ever written or played, looking for racist, homophobic, sexist comments. If any are found they should be banned from every arena and venue. That’s the current standard the left has set for behavior. It applies to them also.
All the recent hype with #metoo and the claimed “sexual assault” by Christine Ford you wouldn’t think the NFL would want Maroon 5 for half time performers. Listen to these lyrics.

The acts have to PAY the NFL and PAY for the 1/2 time show set up ,stage, etc. So when the NFL says so and so is going to play the superbowl 1/2 time show, what they mean is , so and so is paying the NFL for a 15 minute TV show. This info from weird Al who was once asked if he wanted to do the superbowl show. Al ain’t no fool.
They were working on their 9th album last year. I think they played some shows last year too:
Legendary psych-punk sons of anarchy the Butthole Surfers have begun work on their ninth studio LP, their first in more than 15 years.
It has never been done. No one has put out a decent record 35 [years into their career], vocalist Gibby Haynes tells Rolling Stone. Well, except for Johnny Cash. But were not Johnny Cash. Its gonna be a tough road to do a record thats presentable. Its really gonna be hard. But given that, looking forward to it!
...The new album, their first since 2001s Weird Revolution, will reunite founding members Leary and Haynes with drummer King Coffey and bassist Jeff Pinkus, four-fifths of the line-up behind 1987s debut Locust Abortion Technician. That landmark LP has been name-checked as a favorite of Kurt Cobain, John Frusciante and Dean Ween, sampled by Kid Rock and Orbital, and is partially responsible for more than 30 years of the places where punk, noise, psychedelia, Dadaism and juvenile humor intersect.
Theres some pop stuff, but theres a lot of songs with no real agenda, says Coffey of the new material. Its like noise with, like, just throbbing beats to it. Its kind of, in a way, what weve always done. We try to scatter ourselves all across the board.
I vaguely remember getting a bloody nose in a mosh pit during my misspent youth, guys were onstage in lab coats yelling into bullhorns over a sort of metal sounding riff and beat. It was the Butthole Surfers, touring after their debut album.

I suspect his death was faked.
