Could be. I don’t think she took that ‘gator down with a .22 though so maybe a 30-30 ??? Plus it doesn’t look like she’s holding the rifle correctly - using glasses with a scope and her eye relief looks too far away.

Rim on a 30 30 is .506”. .44 mag is .514”.
I’m guessing a manufacturer would use the same tube for both. I’ve been a machinist, .008” is not critical in that application.
