As Hurricane Florence continues to wreak havoc on the Carolinas, weather people and storm chasers are heading as close as they can to the eye of the storm without putting themselves in danger.
One such reporter was caught on camera bracing for the storm ... a little too intensely.

They’re SO desperate to be able to blame Trump for something, anything.
The Talking Points from the DNC went out early in the wee hours, and the ...”news reporters” [chuckle] went scurrying off to Drama Queen Class first to brush up before heading to the Carolinas...
Comical, isn’t it?
And the assh*les wonder why we ridicule them. They truly, truly ARE Fake News.
The sad part is, there are Idiots that BELIEVE them... and vote.
Its the Weather Channel, so...
I caught the Weather Channel globull warming babe in full theater mode this morning leaning into a downed tree for dear life from high winds then picked up a piece of flimsy siding and flung it to make a point about wind damage and it dropped flat to the ground.
Sell that soap.
Reminiscent of the NBC reporterette years ago who was trying to navigate a canoe in a flooded parking lot. As she tried to paddle along, two guys walked right beside the boat. They were in about 3-4 INCHes of water.
That looks like something Tim Conway would have performed.
Here is one where the reporter bimbo is in a boat and two guys walk by and the water is barely ankle deep.
Sheesh. Makes my blood boil!
The idiotic followup statement by the station tries to justify the overacting by claiming the weatherman was ‘on grass trying to hold his footing while the people walking by were on concrete’- Seriously? If the wind is practically knocking him over- then it will practically knock people on concrete over too-
LMAO! That’s as good as the Shep Smith (on location) one I saw where he picked up a downed power line. I called the kids in, viewed it again, and asked what he did wrong. They were gobsmacked and laughing their butts off.
The graphic showed the sustained wind at 29 mph and gusts to 48.
I once rode my bicycle 75 miles in a 20 mph head and side wind.
Fake news.
Bookmark forever lol.. #fakeWeather
Quintessential definition of fake news.
JoMa
