What they beat the Japs at was in the symbolism. However, THAT crap is NOT supposed to matter to the American people!

Gentlemen... regarding Bush, all I will say is that he turned out to be a huge disappointment to me.

I believed in the guy, early on; during the 9-11-2001 events, I thought, “Thank God he was at the helm and not that POS Algore.” I still think that. Gore would have surrendered us.

However, Bush gave us a multitude of government agencies that have since been weaponized by the Dems - as I remember thinking at the time that they would be when those assh*les got control.

And he completely STOOD DOWN while OBunghole and his communist buddies ran roughshod over the Country. Bush let that bast*rd run amok, and said and did nothing.

Unforgivable. He’s no better now, to my thinking. And he has the BALLS to badmouth our current President?

That day is forever etched in my mind, and I’ll NEVER FORGET who did it - Islamic Terrorists, aided and abetted by their liberal allies here at home.

In 1977, I stood at the foot of the WTC, looking up. I was in NYC to visit my sister and her husband, who were living there at the time. I was a 16 year old kid. I remember looking straight up, getting dizzy, and thinking “Damn, we’re GOOD...to build such incredible buildings.”

In 2001, I watched in horror as Americans - MY PEOPLE - began leaping to their deaths from those same Towers. Attacked by 7th century barbarians that Bill Clinton’s administration allowed into OUR Country, KNEW they were here, and what they were doing, and then did NOTHING. And then sent Sandy Burger to the National Archives - using his SECURITY CLEARANCE to steal documents related to anything related to Clinton and the terrorists. Gee... but John Brennan still deserves to have HIS clearance, right?

Thank God we now have a President - an AMERICAN - who fights back.

NEVER FORGET who did this to us, and never forget who helped them.

Yep, that pretty much speaks for me too.

I hadn’t been there, but it didn’t matter. Those folks were my neighbors, friends, and family members that day, and I don’t care what party they were registered in.

It defies logic on any level to allow students to come here from problematic nations, and to allow refugees from them as well.

“...It defies logic on any level to allow ....”

Unless there are nefarious motives behind allowing them here in the first place, which I believe there were.

ESPECIALLY after the first attempt on the WTC.

I felt much the same, but I admit, I trusted my country to do what was right with respect to the surveillance state we instituted in the wake of 9/11.

I viewed us as being at war, and I felt that in time of war, it was a risk worth taking.

I was wrong. And what we have been seeing with the abuse of those systems in the illegal surveillance of Trump’s campaign, it is clearly the tip of an iceberg.

As others have rightly said, if they did that to a presidential candidate, what would they do to shrubs like us?

That’s right.

And I found that disillusioning. A hard lesson to learn.

I knew it would be abused. It’s inevitable. All it takes for someone like Obama or Hillary to come along, and the machine is in place. With a word, you’re an Enemy of the State. Obama proved it by weaponizing those agencies against US.

Left boot or right boot, it doesn’t matter; when they attempt to put the boot on your throat, you have two choices; shoot the wearer, or surrender.

A French resistance writer, Jean Dutourd once said: “War is less costly than servitude; in the end, the choice is always between Verdun...or Dachau.”

I’ll take Verdun. Dachau is not an option. I’m an American, my family is American for generations back, my people DIED for this American Dream, and I’ll be damned if I’ll EVER hand it over. My father went to Europe and helped liberate people under the Socialist boot, and got shot up twice in the process.

They can’t have this - not for free, not painless, and not without one Hell of a vulgar brawl.

God bless President Trump. I’ll go to Hell and back for him.

Say what you want about FDR.

Ok, I will! ;p He was in my opinion THE worst President in history. Even when factoring in his decent handling of his wartime duties. The US survived under FDR but it hasn't been a truly free country since.

Bush is also crap.

I’m with you. I wish I could look back with pride at how Bush handled things, and I don’t get me wrong, I’m glad that filthy rat bastard Al Gore wasn’t President but it’s hard hard to assess him favorably.

Other than inspiring us all by risking his lungs by going to ground zero with a bullhorn what did he do?

He got Bin Laden and ended Al Queda right? Actually Bin Laden survived the entirety of his administration. Al Qudea and the Taliban STILL exist. And our troops are STILL THERE.

He created the TSA, a jobs program for democrats who like to molest old white women (my apologies to that one TSA agent freeper if he’s still around).

His crap handling of Iraq and the economy pissed away our Congressional majorities and set the table for Obama to win.

As you point out he said jack shiite against Obama for 8 years and yet he dares to criticize Trump?

His approval with DEMOCRATS has never been higher (except when it was 89% overall on Sep 12th). In fact if you told me in 2008 that one day democrat trolls would be practically s*cking off GW Bush I wouldn’t have believed you.

Yes. She vanished 6 years ago. I can’t imagine any diehard Shrub sycophants would want to stick around here as his record and legacy was exposed for being a charade.

This was another FReeper who was a similar partisan and also vanished. You can see how she REALLY fell under his spell...

Not saying he’s a suspect, but it is just another weird coincidence.

Wow, what a mind-blowing article. It truly boggles the mind. In Dallas when JFK was assassinated; meeting with the bin Ladens when the towers went down... he's like Forrest Gump. /sarc

Thanks so much for the link.
