Rare images show President George W. Bush in the moments and days after 9/11 terror attacks

Today marks the 17th anniversary of the devastating September 11th terrorist attacks that left 2,996 people dead and more than 6,000 others injured in the United States.

The horrific day began when hijackers crashed American Airlines Flight 11 into floors 93-99 of the World Trade Center’s North Tower at 8.46am. Minutes later at 9.03am, United Airlines Flight 175 was crashed by hijackers into floors 75-85 of WTC’s South Tower.

Everyone aboard both planes were instantly killed along with those on the affected floors inside both towers.

Within less than an hour of the two attacks on the Twin Towers, a third hijacked plane crashed into the Pentagon in Washington, D.C. A fourth hijacked plane was stopped from hitting the intended target by passengers and that aircraft crash landed in a Shanksville, Pennsylvania field. The fateful day has since been known as the worst domestic attack the United States has every experienced.

At the time of the first attack on the North Tower, then-President George W. Bush was participating in a reading demonstration with children at Emma E. Booker Elementary School in Sarasota, Florida. His discussion with the young students ended quickly as he rushed to an empty classroom to receive updates on the situation as it unfolded.

Now, a collection of captivating and harrowing images that are a part of the George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum focus on Bush’s leadership during the tragic time in America’s history.

Too bad he didn’t do the right thing by denouncing the Satanic Death Cult as the very nexus of worldwide terror instead of propagating the “Big Lie” and summarily ended all Mohammadan immigration to America, shut down terrorist mosques and seriously reevaluated our policies towards all nations that supported this evil... just for starters.

I have never seen an instance of a man gaining so much support, then throwing it all away, with both hands. His support of the Clintons among other such BS has made him persona non grata.

As DoughtyOne pointed out, the Bushes (both father and son) are clearly a part of the Deep State (with one aspect being Mohammadan appeasement). Shrub did a better job at fooling us, but the mask fell off as soon as Trump stepped up to run for President. He wasn’t offended by the Clintoon crime family (his “brother by another mother”) and the Zero regime and all the horror they unleashed for 16 years combined.

Apparently Bush Senior was meeting Muslims when the attack happened.

They will do it again unless the new crop of maniacal Islamic jihadists turned out to be snowflakes, and only a fool would assume that they have. We’re not necessarily being complacent, but the naive and childlike among us are too quick to believe that the world has changed so much in such a short period of time.

"Apparently Bush Senior was meeting Muslims when the attack happened."

I thought it was the next day, at lunch? Reminds me how Neil Bush had dinner plans with the senior Hinckley or brother Hinckley the night Reagan was shot...

New World Order's gotta do some New World ordering, I suppose.

Right after 9/11 W had the opportunity - and the duty - to crush radical Islam into dust.

Say what you want about FDR. But after Pearl Harbor FDR knew exactly what had to be done. He rallied the country. And four and a half years later both Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan were gone.

On 9/11 we needed another FDR. Instead we got someone who told us “Islam is peace”.

Worse than that, W Bush later told us “Christians and Muslims worship the same God”... thereby disqualifying himself as a Christian and deceiving people with religious appeasement — all in one fell swoop.

hmm...let me see.

“A” attacks us on 9-11 so we invade “B” who had nothing to do with it.

Boosche was such a doosche; took us all along for the ride. sounds like something the boosche/clintoon family could make a lot of money on.

Woke up in a bad mood today, then remembered, then I saw this thread....so yea. Not only did he not do what should have been done, but got how many more American soldiers killed and put us how many more trillions in debt? For what? To say he did something?

Just remember that the Nike scumbag who kneels during the national anthem is a member of the religion that did this on September 11th.

If they could, jihadists would do this to us again.

In 17 years, the west surrendered to islam. Western Europe is lost because its leaders demanded acceptance of millions of invaders who will out-populate the natives and who will refuse to assimilate. They will conquer and destroy leaving all the history of western Europe on the ash-heap of history.

It almost happened here, but the people fought back and then we elected Trump.

We still have invaders of another flavor, but we are fighting.

Europe has given up. Even Sweden could not unify around their own survival.

Here's what I remember about Bush in the days following 9/11.
Bush: "Islam is a religion of peace."
That's the equivalent of FDR getting on the radio right after Pearl Harbor and telling the country that Japan is a peace loving country.

Incomprehensible. Gutless.

I used to be a big George W supporter...but he can go to hell.

Today, in light of what we now know about our intelligence agencies, I hope someone takes the time to list the many "significant failures" (their word) that happened pre-9/11. In hindsight I believe that 9/11 could have and SHOULD HAVE been prevented. And remember, given it was the largest domestic attack since Pearl Harbor, not one government intelligence worker was fired or disciplined.

And yeah, Bush Jr was president.
