Many reports in peer-reviewed literature show/suggest untoward effects of blood transfusion, beyond the transmission of blood-borne pathogens. Blood transfusion is an organ transplant every time. The inserted spies weren’t working for the feds. They were put into the campaign as pawn who could be used to gain a FISA warrant, or who the “allies” could surveil. Then, because that surveillance could be used to gain access to those who were 2 persons downstream of the original target, those surveilling could get to Trump directly and anyone who was interacting with him. IOW, Page>Higher up Boss>>Trump. Page didn’t even have to talk to Trump, just someone who did.

The surveillance was being tracked in the situation room. It may not have been all Trump all the time, but it would have been his campaign all the time, and Trump himself some of the time.
