I am so disappointed to hear this from YoYo Ma. He is truly one of the great classical performers of our time. A prodigy. A musical genius.

But Yoyo has now tarnished himself and become petty by making these political statements.

He brings cheapness on himself.

Now I am going to have a hard time listening to his music or attending any of his concerts. When I’m in the mood for fine classical performances, I want politics to stay at the door.

This is kind of like football players taking the knee. They ruin it for the fans who want to experience a football game and not to have to endure political statements.
