The larger planets such as Saturn, Jupiter and Uranus remarkably put off more energy than they absorb from our sun. If they were actually in the billions of years of age, should they not have become frozen and expired an incalculable length of time ago. Scientists in this field have come up with many reasons as to the how that these celestial entities kept their heat as far as their theories; however, their noses are firmly planted in a major wall that repels everything they've come up with.
Volcanism observed on Jupiter's Io and the geyers with Saturn's Enceladus command the proper power within. Though these astrophysicists, astrogeologists and the like as of late wave papers that they say hold proof for the reason for the present energy in such an old planetary system, it may pay off for them to apply Occam's Razor: the simplest solution tends to be the right one. These objects are in fact very young.
Again, this billions-of-years belief system is prevalent among the scientific community concerning comets; they see these colorful streaming sprites of space as existing that long ago, a by-product of the creating processes of the the Solar System, until now. Our sun causes their beautiful tails by frying their icy nuclei each time they near this extreme heat on their elliptical courses, also shedding material each time. By even 100,000 years, comets should break into dead fragments; so why after the speculative billions are they ever present? Replenishment from the Oort Cloud lying outside our familiar nine planets that send more our way? Since the Kuiper Belt does exist, scientists believe that there is in fact an Oort Cloud--a "continuation" of the Kuiper. Thus far, no one has glimpsed the theoretical Oort with even the most powerful equipment.
The latest observations of the Moon show exciting news that it is indeed still very young, as flashes of light, color shifts and hazes may be from active volcanism. Tall drop-offs on its surface called scarps are pockmarked by misshapen little craters, many of which should've been wiped away by latter meteorite strikes, but still many remain--in turn showing these scarps are even younger. As opposed to the common consensus that the Moon has been a dead, cold fascination for an extremely long period of time, this shows that this event likely happened in a several-thousand year range. Saturn's rings are glistening and spiffy, its moon Titan's methane is constantly in process of being turned into more intricate forms of organic molecules as the sun bombards it with ultraviolet radiation, and the interesting way the craters lie about on Venus all show evidence of a young Solar System. Not to forget Pluto, which because of the images taken by the New Horizon spacecraft/probe show that it is still very much geologically active.
Scientists can't come up with a reason how this could be, such energy existing for eons with Pluto, back on the list as the #9 planet for this shocking data.
In closing, we look at the Deep Time Paradox. Are radioisotope dating methods secure? Not really, and are actually quite suspect according to recent information. Are distant galaxies billions of years old, since the speed of light is extreme but limited? In actuality, light travels at different speeds in different directions. The "Big Bang" model with the newly attached Inflation Theory is so very strange that a goodly number of astrophysicists viciously attack it. Some have now admitted to some sort of "intelligent design" to everything in existence, seen or unseen. Along with this study, I am fascinated by the world of fractals--such beautiful, exacting mathematical design. Wow.
The mass of comets hitting the Sun is what?
What sort of radiation is released when a comet hits the Sun?
How much energy can be produced from this purported water?
Are you familiar with the 1st and 2nd Laws of Thermodynamics?
And an immense amount of it. Earth’s volcanic activity as of now is nothing compared to the cataclysmic eruptions that occurred during the year-long deluge (with the K/T Boundary that spans the earth to prove it) that covered the entire planet, up to 20 feet above the highest mountains at that time. Genesis records that extremely violent tectonic activity presented during (”the fountains of the great deep were broken up”) and even after The Flood, as during the life of Peleg (which in Hebrew means dividing” by a small channel of water” [Genesis 10:25] and also is the root associated with the meaning of an earthquake). In the context of this passage of The Torah Bereiket, Peleg means “to split something”.
“What sort of radiation is released when a comet hits the Sun?”
Mostly thermal which creates an intense plasma.
“How much energy can be produced from this purported water?”
E= M*C**2
“Are you familiar with the 1st and 2nd Laws of Thermodynamics?”
Yes. The first holds try. The second does not apply to this situation ... by definition.
“during the year-long deluge (with the K/T Boundary that spans the earth to prove it) that covered the entire planet, up to 20 feet above the highest mountains at that time.”
Wow! How did the men and women survive?
I am finally getting confused. In Part I, you said that the Sun generates its energy through “nuclear fuel,” whatever that means. Now you’re claiming that its energy comes from the combustion of hydrogen and oxygen.
Which is it? Nuclear fuel (I presume you mean nuclear fusion) or combustion of hydrogen and oxygen?
Man, it’s a good thing Jesus was an astrophysicist.
Otherwise, can you imagine all the tortured drivel we’d be hearing today?
“I am finally getting confused. In Part I, you said that the Sun generates its energy through nuclear fuel, whatever that means. “
You are confused. I never posted on the part 1 thread.
“Now youre claiming that its energy comes from the combustion of hydrogen and oxygen.”
Actually, I was describing E = M*V**2 as the source.
My mistake, then, regarding your contribution (or more accurately lack of contribution) to Part I.
I note that you have changed your equation from the relativist mass-energy equivalence to something else which I don’t recognize.
Here’s the basic problem which I have been trying to lead you to. By the First Law of Thermodynamics you can’t create energy - you can only convert it. However, the combustion of hydrogen and oxygen from comets falling into the Sun cannot account for the energy being radiated by the Sun. Your energy balance won’t work. It won’t come close - by orders of magnitude.
“I note that you have changed your equation from the relativist mass-energy equivalence to something else which I dont recognize.”
Why do you call it relativist? Why you combine hydrogen and oxygen to make water the amount of energy released is equivalent to matter lost according to the equation E=M*C**2.
sorry ... I left out a constant 1/2. Should have been E=1/2*M*V**2.
I call it the relativistic mass-energy equivalence because it is derived from Einstein’s Special Theory of Relativity. Your new equation is the equation for Kinetic Energy. How is it relevant?
When hydrogen and oxygen are combined, how much mass is converted per the relativistic mass-energy equivalence equation?
“When hydrogen and oxygen are combined, how much mass is converted per the relativistic mass-energy equivalence equation?”
E=M*C**2
“I call it the relativistic mass-energy equivalence because it is derived from Einsteins Special Theory of Relativity.”
Uh, no.
Well, then, pray tell, how is it derived?
The question was not the equation. The question was what is the value of M (the equation actually uses m-sub-zero - the rest mass being converted).
“The question was what is the value of M (the equation actually uses m-sub-zero - the rest mass being converted).”
I should have written: M=E/C**2.
Fine. But what is the value of m-sub-zero?
Why do you claim that the relativistic mass-energy equivalence is not derived from Special Relativity?
Just what do you know of physics? So far I have seen no evidence of any basic understanding of this science on your part.
