Why is this spoken of as “child abuse” in general terms, but seldom mentioned that homosexual men are the predstors?

I agree on the “pope is gay” idea. Why is he protecting predator priests? The office is NOT sacred, any more than those of protestant pastors and staff.

In all fairness I believe the Pope was referring to those who are demanding he answer to claims that he knew about McCarrick and not the victims of abuse themselves.
How did a College of Cardinals largely appointed by John Paul II and Benedict XVI elect this man Pope? This non-Catholic is genuinely baffled.

Not defending Francis but I’m calling BS on this article.
None of the quotes they provide has him actually saying anything like the title. Other news services including ones critical of the Pope reported on the same homily and didn’t hear him say that either.
And the ultimate proof that the author of the article knows that the homily itself doesn’t support his assertion: no link to the text.
I don’t recall ANY story in the Bible where ANYONE was attacked by a pack of wild dogs, let alone Christ Himself.
