Nike selected former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick as the face
of its "Just Do It" campaign, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary.
One has to wonder who in a major corporation like Nike makes decisions like this.

One has to wonder who in a major corporation like Nike makes decisions like this. My money's on Phil Knight himself.
(BTW, there is another thread about this from earlier today)

Well they are not going to be selling shoes to me anytime soon, although this is unlikely to change my shoe buying habits, as Nikes are too narrow for my feet.

The last Nike I bought fell apart, coming unglued after a month. I sent it back and they refused to make good, even sending it back to me. Never bought a Nike since, never will.

I have never owned or worn a single item of Nike merchandise. I’m damned proud of that. And I don’t plan on breaking the streak.

I too don’t have a clue.
But, if you watch the oil corporation’s board meeting in “Hellfighters” (John Wayne’s 1968 movie) I think you will see the type of person involved.

Just Hate America. Assclowns.
Even MLK Jr. put his hand over his heart for the National Anthem before his 1963 speech in Washington. And Blacks were ACTUALLY oppressed in many places then, unlike today. So is Kapperdick saying he knows BETTER than MLK?
