The consequences of a liberal zealot refusing to serve White House press secretary Sarah Sanders is still being felt by the small town in Virginia town that houses the Red Hen restaurant.
The unreasonable actions of the Trump-hating owner resulted in a rash of negative media attention raining down not only on the restaurant, but the town of Lexington, forcing the area’s regional tourism board to develop an emergency recovery plan, according to the Roanoke Times.

Rockbridge Regional Tourism, which has members from Lexington, Buena Vista and Rockbridge County, where Lexington is located, approved a recovery plan to boost its marketing efforts.
The board agreed “to pull together emergency funds to increase digital marketing and spread positive messages of the area, especially Lexington, which brings in the largest number of tourists,” The Times reported.
The newspaper noted that the money is normally saved, but the board agreed that the region “was in desperate need of positive coverage after The Red Hen incident.”
The eatery quickly became ground zero for protests and demonstrations, even after temporarily closing.

Director of Marketing Patty Williams told The Times the area is still feeling effects from the controversy — the tourism office has received thousands of phone calls and emails.
“For a town our size, it was a significant impact,” Williams said.
Just another example of how others are forced to pay the price for the actions of liberals.
The owner of the Red Hen, Stephanie Wilkinson, resigned as executive director of Main Street Lexington, a volunteer-based organization that promotes the “economic prosperity and cultural vitality” of the community, as a result of the backlash from kicking Sanders out.
