With Republican, Senator, John McCain now buried, when & who will Republican, Governor of Arizona, Doug Ducey name to fill the remaining Senator term of the now departed John McCain?
Governor, Ducey... we the citizens and voters of Arizona and the USA await your announcement.
If I had to choose one of these two, it would be Biggs.
Everything was fake. Like she just came out of a drama class. Not to mention her fake eyelashes looked like they were about ready to fall off.
When you say “step down” I assume you mean step aside as there is a special election for a 2 year term in 2020 after the appointment this week. Then the seat is up again in 2022 to stay in the same “Class” as when McStain was elected in 2016.
I thought he already decided to appoint Vicente Fox to carry on Songbird McCains legacy of destroying this country.

Please, let this be so! After years of McTurd’s backstabbing, Kyl would be a major breath of fresh air and the vote is needed.
It would effectively end any notion of a McCain family dynasty. That along with your other points makes Kyle a good choice.

With that said, what are the mechanics of this. I am assuming an announcement on Tuesday and how long before a swearing in ceremony etc and when will he be in the Senate, a couple of days, a week, 2 weeks, etc etc?

I agree With Larry that this is the scenario... not so sure about Ducey running for Senator though. I know Jon Kyl as well. He was always a reliable conservative up until the end before he stepped down I remember He did questionable things but all in all a good, safe choice. My only worry is that Kyle became a world class lobbyist since leaving the Senate. We’ll see.,

Kyl all but told my brother in May that he didn't want it. This is surprising to me. Thought it would be Ducey chief/former Speaker. But not enough gravitas perhaps. So long as its not McCain detestable 2nd wife.
