James, who hosts the show that vows to have spirited, free-flowing discussions, attended St. Vincent-St. Mary Catholic School in Akron, Ohio, as a basketball prodigy. He said upon entering school, he didnt have any desire to talk to any of his white classmates, as he was there to play basketball.
When I first went to the ninth grade in high school, I was on some Im not ----- with white people, James said. I was so institutionalized growing up in the hood, it was like, They dont -- with us, they dont want us to succeed.
So Im like, Im going to this school to play ball and thats it. I dont want nothing to do with white people, he said. That was my initial thoughts and my initial shock to white America, when I was 14 years old, for the first time in my life. It took me a little while to adjust to it.

James is an arrogant, ungrateful POS for not realizing how lucky he was to escape the public school in the 'hood for an opportunity at a good private school, tuition-free.
Boo frickin hoo.
St. Vincent-St. Mary seems to have done wonders inculcating standard English.
Perfectly normal. To go from one extreme environment to a different extreme would take a period of adjustment for anyone.
Big deal. Completely normal. Culture shock is what it is.
So Im like, Im going to this school to play ball and thats it. I dont want nothing to do with white people, he said.

What does the media call a white guy who doesn’t want anything to do with black people?
A racist.
Another millionaire "victim".
New LeBron just like old LeBron.
Lebron still hasn’t adjusted to working with white people for the most part. It’s very easy to see his disdain and contempt for any race that is not black. Weaker minds, like Stephen Curry tend to follow Lebron’s lead in rejecting any attempts by this White House to reach out to the black community.
He becomes the mouthpiece of the perpetual Basketball whiner.
WHAhhh..!
He hates me and I feel soooo responsible..!
(yuge eye roll)
Tuition last year at St. Mary-St. Vincent was $10,000 and change. That’s substantially less than the average tuition at a DC area Catholic high school. DC, of course, is a very high cost area. Adjusting for thzt, I’d guess that SM-SV is a very typical urban Catholic school. Its tuition is nowhere near “posh” levels.
Rhondo Hatton looking mother &^%$#!
I’m sorry. I don’t understand why this man’s opinion matters to anybody.
Let me rephrase that honestly, who gives a damn?
I would’ve said OJ.
Awww...poor thing. FU.
I had similar adjustments to make when I moved from Brooklyn to Tennessee. A VERY different culture and environment.
Likewise it took some time for the Professors to get used to me. They’re comments about me inspired my screen name.
Oh come on LeBron, ya big baby...
My high school had A black kid too. And just like half the nation did with obama, this kid was untouchable and did what he pleased. Student body president, captain of the football team (even though he wasnt very good), etc...
Yes, every blue moon, some doofuss would make a race joke, but said joker would then get his butt kicked by all the ‘cool’ kids who treated our black classmate like the media treats obama.
The kid never had to lift a finger. Got easy A’s when more capable kids fought hard - and got B-’s.
Lebron, you were that SAME kid. Just like obammy.
..Spoiled brats, who learned how to play - the race card.
Instead of focusing on his present financial status, it would be interesting to know how he came to this state of mind. Did friends and family influence him to think this way?
